Well I finally got around to renewing my account and since then not much has happened.
Well the biggest thing it that I graduated from college with a BA in archaeology. Very excited about that. But I'm taking a year off from school and then (hopefully) grad school in england. But we'll see. For now, a nice relaxing summer awaits me.

Been there, it's size and scope is unbelievable, and the fact that it vanished for so long and was forgotten by history is amazing. Dont take a tour though, they rush you to much and you cant even scrape the surface, you'll need a couple of days just to walk the city and get a cursory look at it.

Thanks, you have no idea how insane it has been the past few hours. Damn convention workers having their christmas party tonight. They know the convention schedule, why not make it for a night that doesn't have tons of shit going on? And maybe setting up everything properly before they leave? Or at least informing the people who will be here, ie me, bartender, and cook of what is going on and where everything can be found.
bastards. then i get slammed with checkins, and the phone starts going. i ignore it, it keeps going and going. finally get everyone out and answer the phone, and it is my manager. she chews me out, and then asks why i won't let the people having a meeting into their convention room.
NO ONE ASKED ME!!! maybe that is why. They asked the cook who was running around doing stuff he needed to do, and he got the key and opened it for them. I guess they called and complained to the person in charge of the convention center while the cook was trying to find the keys.
