Woah, long fucking week.
Here's a semiquick update. The next journal entry will contain pics. Promise.
Uncle passed away on Thursday and my mother and i had to take care of all the funeral arrangements. Since he is navajo there are a few family meetings that the wife's family are to prepare. I've been driving food from Albuquerque to Crownpoint (3 hours away) for the first part of the chaos. The ceremony was rough. It's so hard to see eveyone break.
I've been hanging out with family non-stop. I've been chilling with my cousin Vikki the most. Her best friend (who I've known since I was 8) was murdered a week ago so once she was informed of our uncle's passing, someone has been with her constantly. During the drunken family sessions I ran into an old friend ToCoolToBeZeke and we've been drinking together as well. It sucks for TCTBZ because Robert (my cousin's late friend) was his best friend as well and now TCTBZ's father is in a hospice, and expected to pass in the next few days. I keep sending him jokes and comfort phrases. I like that guy.
I haven't heard from fuckhead (thank my lucky stars again)
I went to Chama with DarlingNikki and drank a few Sandia Sunrises and had my friend Germy rescue me from the white people (I shit you not, i was surrounded by like 20 of them crazies).
