I know that this may seem odd, but I love my car.

With luck, I'll get it back tomorrow. I never thought I'd have an attachment to such an everyday item.

The truth is, however, that in retrospect, ever since I saw this car it's been a love affair. It's perfectly me. Haven't you ever found that one thing that seems to be a part of you before you knew it was? For me, it's been this car.

For FIVE years I drove my 1994 Ford Taurus GL. It was a six-cylinder automatic with four doors and grey everything. I loved it for about a third of that time; it then became a millstone about my neck. In the death of that car I found both release and constraint, as I had no option but to quickly find a solution to my 15 mile daily commute. And I found freedom and inspiration in my new car... I love to drive again.

My 1997 200SX SE-R isn't the top end of the sports class. It's not even close. But its an excellent blend of all the elements which make it fun, and I love it. And tomorrow, I will rejoice as I am re-united with my little red demon.
