thanks for the feedback on the tattoo shading question. I think it's probably true, that the cross-hatching wouldn't have worked on it at this size. I would have been willing to get it bigger though... Anyhow, thanks!

Hey thanks, I suppose I should have done a search duh ! However I also should have specified what I wanted it for too. I only want it for small area's in my sternum that make me me want to jump out of the chair and punch my artist in the dick. Know what i mean? I was thinking of using the same exact kind that my friend uses in her permanant makeup which seems harmless and I had no side effects from it or anything when i got my lips and eyebrows done. Just a topical cream. Your thoughts oh wise one???

Sorry about my comment. I didn't really mean that the group sucked, at all. It's one of my favourite groups on the site and I read it every day. I often leave groups that I truly think suck and I wouldn't still be in there. My comment was off-hand and posted in a moment when I really only had a few moments to spare. I should have actually elaborated on what I meant. What I really meant was that I'm a little fed up with some of the attitudes in there lately... people have been rather condescending and have trouble understanding that not everyone will agree with their opinion then they blow up. Of course, this does mean that they're passionate... which, is great, of course when it comes to talking about tattoos. You're right too, without the really indepth conversations and passionate discussions the group wouldn't be half what it is.
I was just venting frustration at the few immature people who tend to not be able to discuss their points without losing their temper if people don't agree with them
Like with everything, these things seem to come in cycles, and it has been a rather calm cycle recently. I guess I mostly just store these things up in my memory and it starts to feel like a trend

anyhow. i just thought you'd like to know (and i know there is a site-wide rule about not re-starting closed threads) that Mitch O'Collell, a national tattoo flash artist did our logo (for free, in fact) and that the flaming i got in your group came mainly from "graphic designers". i just thought it fair that they should know, and that the tattooist crowd should get thier props.

Yeah Mike its pretty good to be back. People put this place down for being more of a sausage party than the feminist image implies, but you know its the sausage party I missed. I live with my wife and my mother and I'm a librarian, so I'm kind of chewed out and pushed around by women all the time. I really don't have time for nights out with the guys, but maybe I can oggle a few half my age hotties with them. Tis a sad vice but that and drinking at home is all the vice I can sqeeze in.
