Ok, I don't know why i did it, since I rarely update here, but I've started my very own blog. (see website link, bottom left.) Nothing more interesting than reading about my boring life, right?

Oh well, perhaps I convince myself to post regularly as a discipline practice. Yeah, right...

Why is sleep necessary?

No one has sufficiently answered this for me... it's always just "You need to sleep.. you can't function otherwise."

I can't seem to function anyway, so what's the big difference?

My body seems to indicate that if I don't get enough sleep, it'll revolt and make me sick, but I'm still testing this theory.

i'm not a religious person, and i don't believe in a god per se, but if there is a cosmic force at work in the universe, and that cosmic force checks my journal on occasion, i just want to say this:
please protect the lives of the many from the stupidity of the few
please bring home my brothers and sisters alive and safe
