so...i opted out on roller derby. i'm still having problems breathing and such...so i figured an endurance practice probably wouldn't be good for body healing time.
did clean my living room though.
always sends my allergies into hell drive.
now i need to post stuff on e-bay for con money.

Last night was our roller derby bout. I had no idea what to expect, but the reality exceeded all my expectations. we had over 800 in attendance, with lines wrapped around the building. an 80 year old man with an oxygen tank waited 2 hours to be first in line. the crowd was receptive and into the action of it all. people asked for autographs...kids...

I think of death all the time but not in a morbid wishing kind of way. I think of it in a realistic wondering way. The curiosity of what happens fascinates me. I don't want to die anytime soon but when old people go I feel like they've lived their life and are priviledged to move on....hmm. I guess that is morbid to some... smile I love living and having fun doing it.

The fact that i have to pay off student loans if i quit keeps me in school. Also, i want a better quality of life and opportunities for my boys- this will keep me from working an hourly wage all my life.
I really don't know what I'll do when I graduate but i do know that if i get put in one of those padded gray cubicals in some corporation building somewhere it will be my padded cell.
I've been thinking simplicity, myself, lately..see my journal. smile

of course i don't mind your kids!! we have a modest mouse concert that we are going to (which means that night we may be coming in kind of late)....so we would stop by in the afternoon like 2:30 or 3, we did want to go to wax n/ facts and the junkman's daughter at some point. but definently want to see you and winter. i have a painting i did for winter for his birthday. hopefully he will like it. do you guys just have one cell phone? if so, i have that number and can call you when we get to town. just let me know. yay i am excited!
