there've been a lot of interesting convos this week... primarily with my officemate, since they're pretty much the only person I talk to daily that's non-work related, but also with a couple friends who called this week
( and, yes, I'm still getting used to this new phone - it has caller ID, but it doesn pop up immediately nor tell me if...

I know, I know, I skipped posting last week... as I do every so often and probably will again... ANYways...

Come mid-June, this Madman's Loose In 'Frisco-land :)
yes, my upcoming vaca is set in stone - hotel booked, flight booked, shuttle booked...
all that remains now is setting up a loose battle plan of what I intend to do and see when I'm...

First off, apologies to the several who had called since this morning's posting - I still haven't picked up/ordered batteries for my phones...
thanks for the calls
if you left a message, I'll have to check them at work if I have the moment(s)
even if I'd have picked up, the best you wouldn't gotten was a "hel..." before...

it's that time of year again where I find out how much bills/charges are going to go up...
of course, most of the household bills are going up - but that's happening all over the area, so I expected it

this means that it's going to be HIGHLY unlikely I'm going to save a thing to be able to vaca next...

I'm Open once again to Vacation Ideas/Recommendations (Solo Travel)...
I'm looking for :
1) somewhere I haven't been/seen (since I'm very not-traveled, this leaves things pretty wide open - no MN or ND!)
2) somewhere a car isn't required (to see the sights/explore the area/get to food/etc.)
3) somewhere in the US (no passport - tried for one...

this week's title stems from one of my 'twits' on 2/12, specifically :
"lesbian KKK dwarves with a shoe fetish"
is there anyone other than me that brings up things like that in casual work conversation?

it's been another crazy busy week, though things are starting to slow down... until the next few projects, of course
of course, starting part of the week...

On the 6th Day, the SchmooGod wrote another blog...
it wasn't a great blog, nor were his prior blogs, but it was his blog.
and, technically, it was the 37th day of the year and only the 6th of the month, but he wasn't worried about what people may think about that.
he had ordered groceries last night, including the usual gallons of...

having "grown up" on the Hellblazer comic it's loosely based on, I'm liking it - it's hitting the tone and the character fairly well, though I am hoping it gets darker soon... Hellblazer does not normally have many "happy" endings in store

...compared to Supernatural and other shows on the air, it has a LOT to live up to - I'm hoping it doesn't get cut, just to see the possibilities roll out, but that may be just me having been a fan in my younger days

already 30 days into January... already!
the last couple weeks have been a crazy blur, but we've gotten through it once again...
hells, the past year has been a blur - though not necessarily crazy as a whole.

been reminiscing here-and-there with the new officemate... demn, I did some crazy shit in my time - and somehow survived it all
there are times where I forgot...

*whew* survived another crazy-busy week... over 50hrs again... but at least I can say I (finally) completed a work-goal
...even if it did take me until mid-day today - and had an original goaltime of last Friday... *coughs* ANYways...

not much goin' on - as is the usual - the Children's Museum visit was highly enjoyable
the girls are at the age where it's pretty...

demn... s'been one helluva week.
(and, yes, I struggled for a subject to this posting - sorry)

cold, cold, cold as all friggin' get out - even woke up to no heat in the apartment this mornin' *shivers*
working just under 50hrs - just a wee bit over my county/state-allowable 45hrs... here's hoping I don't get that dreaded call!

and, well, that's about...
