A massive hurricane is currently tearing up the ocean just off the coast of Mexico, and the surf here in Southern California is huge. Waves between fifteen and twenty feet have been common, and on Wednesday, Anne and I went down to the beach to see them for ourselves, and take a long walk along the sand.

School has just started, so there weren’t many...

I must say you're handling this with more maturity that I probably would have.  Well, I can't wait to see what you do next, sir :)

I heard good things about the show but haven't seen it.  Unfortunately the $20+ extra per month my cable provider charges to get SyFy just isn't worth it for how little TV I watch now.  :(  Sorry to hear that all those people who did get in on the laughs are going to miss out this season though.

A fellow SG member who I will leave anonymous asks,

Second Season of Wil Wheaton Project. Yes or No? I hope SyFy channel has the foresight to keep it going.

So for those of you who don't know, earlier this summer, I did 12 episodes of a silly comedy show on Syfy called The Wil Wheaton Project. It was basically The Soup for people...

So many games for season 3!  Have you picked your favs yet?  Sneak peek?
rogha:
It was in fact inevitable that SYFY wouldn't renew this show as they are the only company I can think of that actually seems to strive towards letting down their target audience.  Bah... and Humbug too.

This is another post I wrote on my blog about how I deal with depression and anxiety.

Everyone who has Depression experiences it in a different way, but I think it’s safe to say that all of us have days when it sits more heavily on us than others. I realized yesterday morning that I’ve been struggling under more depression and anxiety than usual for...

I wrote this on my blog in 2012. I'm reposting it here today because I think it's important to talk about mental illness, and since we're all thinking about the death of Robin Williams, it's especially important right now.

When he was 23, my friend Steve killed himself, and though I don’t think of him every day, I do think of him often, and I...

So I guess I'll keep writing things here. It's tough to know if it matters to anyone, when something is only commented on once or twice, you know? I guess one of the things I miss from the pre-redesign days is that sense of choosing to group people into friends and see just their feed. It was a lot easier to keep up with people...

thund3rbeard:
Akira is a great anime.  Have you read the manga?

Does anybody read these things? Should I bother posting blogs here anymore?

When you go to like a set that's on the front page, and you discover that you already liked it when it was in MR and you're all, "fuck yeah, me, for being ahead of the curve" but then you realize that you don't get a prize for that.

(x-posted from my blog at wilwheaton.net)

I spent five days at Comicon this year, and discovered a new level of exhaustion and fatigue every day, surpassing the level I’d discovered the day before. By the time I was finally on the train back home, I had reached a point of burn out that I never though I’d experience: I pretty much don’t want to go...

I just had a brief moment of déjà by before I realised I'd read this on Tumblr already. I am so jealous. I kept myself busy this weekend just so I wasn't thinking about how I wasn't at comic con. One day I'll get to go. I hear Dan Radcliffe dressed up in full Spider-Man costume so he could move around the con freely so it's not such a weird idea. It's one of the few places in the world where you can get away with it!!
nanny:
I would like to assist comic con one day. That's the greatest event of it's kind. You're a celebrity there for sure.

I don't know why the embed didn't show up in the last post, but here's a link to our 1980s Walking Dead theme song.

It's true.

We thought it would be funny if The Walking Dead had its own theme song, like the ones they did in the 80s ... so we made one.

I love this idea, sure hope you post it Mr Wheaton!!

That's awesome! You're a unicorn @WILWHEATON! So magical!

Here's a silly little thing we shot to introduce the world to my new show, The Wil Wheaton Project, which premieres tomorrow night on Syfy at 10pm Eastern.
