A place has been found, but goddamn is it going to be a long drive to get there. I leave on either the first or second to my new home in Oregon. Not Portland sadly, not even close to Portland. I am moving to Redmond.

On the upside of this move my rent will be cheaper, to register my truck will be cheaper, no sales...

Congrats man... I hear the Redmond area is a pretty place!
munke:
Yeah, I was hoping not to leave the immediate SF Bay area myself... but keep reminding myself that a job and a roof over my head are better then the alternatives.

It's ok. Sacramento (and San Francisco) will be waiting there for us, once our situations improve!

Stay strong, my friend!

Less then a month now till I am homeless.

In the last couple of days I have hurt my back twice, kicked a box so hard I lost a toe nail, slammed my moms hand in the toolbox on the back of my truck taking a chunk out of her hand and killed the battery on my truck.

In other news I was hanging out...

I am so tired all the time. I don't really sleep anymore, nothing I try helps. It gives me to much time to think about things. I spend all my time being pissed off and stressed out anymore. To much time to think about things isn't a good thing for me it seems. I get a fun little slide show in my head of all...

Well the house is up for auction today. Will find out if anyone bought it today or not.

While I was at the storage unit the other day dropping off some more crap, someone came by the house to take photos and find out what if anything was wrong with the place. I heard they got the grand tour and they were told of every...

Dude... googling images of three-legged dogs is the most fun I've had in a while. Is it wrong that I kept looking at them even after I found the one I wanted to post?

Cheers, my friend.

I am homeless at the end of the month.

You are never homeless as long as I'm alive. Come stay with me. We'll probably both be dead within a few days, but it will be totally worth it.

And I am back to being single. I am going to be homeless in a couple of months. I don't have enough cash each month to get an apartment. I just don't know what to do anymore.

So the last couple of weeks have been a bit of a bitch.

I was dumped by my long time girlfriend only for her to have second thoughts and get back with me after a week. Still not sure how I feel about the whole thing.

And this week I ran myself over with a truck.

Not my truck sadly which would make things better...

When life is good something always has to happen to fuck it up.

Nothing makes sense, ever.

But, by the same token: when life sucks, something good always happens to take the edge off.

I feel like I am going insane. I can't seem to sleep with an empty bed now. 28 years of sleeping alone and 10 days with Tara here has made it so it doesn't feel right if she isn't next to me.
pmvirgin:
Given this (and your other recent posts), I have to say I'm happy for your progress. Though it may be tough, I get the feeling that you're on the right path.
pmvirgin:
Life is long and the path is winding, but it's easier when you know (and like) who you are.

Well the hurricane did mess things up, her flight was canceled 2 hours before she was to leave for Dublin to catch her plane.

In other news. After 2 years I think it is time for a hair cut and after a few months time for a shave.

Edit: Well the beard is gone.

She is due to land tomorrow but she has to switch planes in New Jersey and the hurricane could fuck everything up.

10 days till she is here.

I want to make this trip great for her but I every idea or plan I have come up with seems to end up being flawed. I am going to have to play this by ear I guess.

Also now I need to find a damn Karaoke bar. Two things I know very little about singing and bars. One...

Flaws are alright - no creation can be more perfect than it's creator. As long are you are true to yourself and you try, I know you'll be fine and she'll have a great time.

As far as Karaoke, just search around online and read some reviews on the locations you find. Visiting the bar to get a sense of the vibe probably wouldn't hurt. In Portland, at least, I've found the atmosphere in more Karaoke bars is pretty accepting - you don't need to be a professional singer, you just need to try (and [try to] have fun).

I'm pullin' for ya, man.
pmvirgin:
<nods> Even if you don't really use it, it's nice to know you have some structure to fall back on.

Karaoke's pretty fun. But, then, I like singing (some songs) along with the radio. Of course, if you Do do it, you can always sing one of those songs that "everyone" likes to sing to (think "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Don't Stop Believing", etc.)
