My band are playing the Bar Academy in Birmingham this weekend and then we're off down to Camden to play. We can't wait!!! I have a bit of a love/hate thing going on with Barfly. They're usually well equipped (soundguy, decent monitors, mics and good sized stage) to play, but I hate the type of audiences they attract - indie hipsters, generally. Plus, I think they never know what to think of my band. No one knows what sound we have, which is good, but can be incredibly difficult in terms of knowing who and where to play to.
