I need to go shopping at thrift stores. I have no money to spend, but that's the fun of it when you gather up $25 worth of stuff. And you can justify it, too, because there are ten items making up that $25 which would normally cost probably over $100 new.
Except, my flannels have to be new. I need to go flannel shopping, too..

Dude! If you watch TMJ4 today, you'll see my famous flannel on tv! I was with my friend Sara and her friend on State St. yesterday and a reporter stopped us and talked to Sara's friend, and although you can't see me, you can see my flannel which means I was right next to her. Yay! I'm SO not getting rid of this ever.

And I'm still up for coffeeshops, but for the next few days, I'm a bit busy because I have a paper due next week that I should start..

Every morning when I wake up I wonder the same thing. It's really surreal to be here. It's been a dream of mine since I was 12 to move to the midwest (we'd visit family in the twin cities during summer vacations). For some reason the natural beauty as well as the bizarrely caring/agreeable nature of the people here was shocking compared with the complete indifference I'd been accustomed to in California.. It's hard to describe the extent to which no one gives a shit about anyone/anything else other than their self-interests. Sometimes I'm happy I moved and other times I regret it. But most of the time I believe I made the right choice. Wisconsin is quality........

so uhm.. hi. i feel bad for being relatively rude to you lastnight. i was thinking today about which weekend we might chillasky, and i have come to the conclusion that none other is better than the upcoming. yes, that's right. this upcoming weekend. unless of course, you're not up for it. i have a bit of extra cash, not much...but some if you'd want gas money.
i'm in that mood again where i just want to get away from everything that surrounds this city. however, i have a feeling that milwaukee might be exactly the same, except larger and more guns. creepy.

I can't wait to see the halls when I go to Eau Claire. My friend Sara who visited near the end of september was jealous because her dorm sucks major ass. Her dorm walls are just plain concrete blocks with, and here's the real problem..really ugly drapes.

ryn: i moved to the u.s the 22nd, so almost two weeks ago.

When I wear the coin scarf, I take my flannel off, plus it would be quite the bundle on my waist. They'd clash too much, too, plus it'd just look funny.. Then certain people could entertain themselves with the image in their heads.. *cough*

Sorry I left early earlier.. ( ) I haven't actually gone to bed yet, but I did eat loads of food because I was starving, and I just found a paper I have yet to write that's due by 8 o'clock this morning.. I guess I'll do it when I get up, my printer has apparently run out of ink.

We'll have to hang out again. I really don't mind lounging around at the 8th Note, it's fine by me , a nice quiet (most times) atmosphere, but it's also nice to get off campus, I never do anymore..
