Okay, so bear with; us Polytheist/Animists totally eat this kind of shit UP...it's STILL National Moth Week.

biggrin

Wow! The Peoples of the Sky really got together and did something special in honor of their nocturnal flitterers on this, the Thursday of their special week....
The Moth Lords are verrrrrrrry pleased, I'm sure! smile

The day started out cloudy, with no real rain...

It's really, REALLY National Moth Week!!!

I spent some time on the porch tonight choreographing an interpretive dance in honor of our blessed, nocturnal, flittering bat-food friends!!!

I didn't work too hard at it, but I DID stay up and watch a bunch of mindless adult swim clips on youtube. *shrugs* As of right now, my Moth Dance looks something like this:

Sans...

Maybe you should go with eyeshadow instead. Comes in pretty colors with no moth collection required. Might get funny looks buying all that eyeshadow at the drugstore though.

Wow...
I really WAS baked last night. It had been quite a while (almost, like, two whole WEEKS!).

One of my Phishing friends swung through...I hadn't seen that cat since he left for the Deer Creek shows a bit ago...

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh... blush

I've been chillin' to Beck's Mutations album. It has a mellow, Taos kinda buzz to it. smile

I've been having fun with that Mighty Quinn song...Dylan, Dead, Phish, Kristofferson, Manfred Mann, etc.
It's about boats, Eskimos, and pigeons, basically.

Boats, Eskimos, and pigeons aside, my foray into different artists performing Dylan's "Quinn the Eskimo" has ultimately lead to a greater...

Happy 3/11!!! biggrin

It's been a pretty cool weekend. I've given up on having a REAL Illinois Winter, so we made the most of the unseasonable 60'+ weather we've been having.

On Saturday, me Mum watched my daughter all day (rock on, Mum). I got the "Spring cleaning" done (it's technically still Winter, right?), and cleaned out/organized my work van...

Nice, I love 311. Next time you are over remind me to give you the battery I have for that jeep. The girls one shot craps but I have a pretty much new battery.

"Wonder Twin powers ACTIVATE!!!"............
"Power of the sloth!".........

I've found much profundity in children's shows of late...I'd love to hear Blind Melon jam this song out, if Mr. Hoon was still corporeal; the theme is reminiscent of "Sleepyhouse".

Perhaps this 2012 "end of the world" stuff is just an orchestrated excuse (perpetrated by whom?) to get us all preemptively nostalgic about...

Solar flares remind me of the Black Sabbath tune "Electric Funeral". This time of night during the work week, it's the Rockabye Baby lullabye version, though. biggrin

Been a lot of crazy weather, work, and good times since I've been online much. From six inches of snow, to a week of upper 30's/mid 40's, to a light dusting, back into the...

Well, it was cool to hang with chefdaddy, and the band was uber cool...but this place is DEAD now. IBC (my current fave bar)? smile

Super cool bands here, too. It looks like they're playing later.

I want to see the video, I saw a picture with her starting to lift off and go forward and I have watched enough rodeo to know how that ends. Since she is fine it is funny, she thinks its hysterical. That was a weird bar, I have never seen a place start music so early and replace it with a SHITE dj as soon as the crowd rolls in.
