Those of you who were recently removed from SGUK:
I did a big clearout due to a massive backlog of new people wanting to get in. A thread went up stating as such, asking you to post a quick 'hello' to let me know you still wanted to be in the group.
If you didnt post - you were removed.
Feel free to apply again....

I'm somewhat put off due to my past experiences though...
When i was a little 'tron i used to work in a supermarket, and customers would drive me bat-shit. I worked with my best friend for...

Hi there. I just noticed that I'm no longer a member of SGUK and just wondered if there was a reason why? I've only been a member of the group for about a month, I know I haven't posted on there much but it's been xmas and I've been away from broadband for a long period. Anywayz, would be much appreciated if you could give an explanation. Cheers
Christmas, and to a lesser extent New Years celebrations are for me reminders of how very old I am becoming, and very fast it seems to be happening.
Yeah, I'm only 24. 25 this year. 'Quarter of a century!' Nic reminded me last night. But- it never ceases to astound me that through this near quarter of a century, my nearest and dearest have no...

but, is it central to the awesome bits? Or just everything? What bit do you all live in? and is it dodgy? (see, I learned that word from Hugh Grant in Love Actually).

Could have been better but you know, sometimes you can't complain.

So, I read the SGUK rules and am a bit confused. I was hoping to get into the group because I want to move to London and I was hoping I could get some good advice on salons to apply to so that I can get a work visa. But how do I get a vouch if I don't know anyone in the UK? Do I just buddy up to some members? Do you have any recommendations on how to go about this? Surely you've had this issue before? Help?
Yes, I know he's an Ape, not a Monkey...
Traumatron says:
Go and see King Kong.
Ben says:
I intend to. The trailer looks ace
Traumatron says:
The trailer is lovely, yes. You may find yourself yawning through the first 45mins, though. But then....BIG MONKEY!!
Ben says:
Hehe. Go monkey go!
Ben says:
The thing about King Kong is that I was never that attracted to...

That's are BRILLIANT idea!

I have now seen the BIG MOKEY and enjoyed it thoroughly.
What you didn't mention was that along with the BIG MONKEY they also had BIG COCKROACH and BIG CRICKET. Not to mention BIG BATS and of course BIG LEFTOVER JURASSIC PARK ANIMATRONS.
aynway, what this all comes down to is that I"m loosely planning a bit of a jet to the Jolly Ol' Isle - what bits should I go to? I have to go to London on Business, but I want to get out of it for a bit - I'm thinking Scotland.
note: time of year = January/February.
note2: I like drinking.

I can't be fucked to go into Uni, clean up the flat, go out to buy presents, or to update this journal properly.
You do it.
You do it.

EDIT: WE MOVE IN FEB 28TH!
We're going to see that flat again today, this time with a camera, and a big list of measurments of our furniture. You know, so we can check all that shit will actually fit in the place.
...which it will. Because it's fucking massive.
Bedroom is great. it's got a bit more room in it than our current one,...

Listen mate - I've got 99 problems but a bit..... hang on...... you're trying to drag me into a rap based mockery of my situation! DAMN YOU TO HELL!
Nic and I were trundling down the street that is just a bit further up the hill from our place on our way back from the pub when we saw a good number of 'To Let' signs.
So we figure we may as well check out the website that the majority are from, as the buildings on the that street are really nice - and...

Excellent. The flat sounds good. Night storage heaters are shit - that's what we have. I remember your comment about gardens a while back; s'good to be able to go outside whilst staying on your own property. Hope you get it

I have been removed from the group because I am lame. I have reapplied and ask for you to grant my wish to rejoin. If I am just as lame this time I hereby grant you my first born to train in the dark arts as you desire. What have you got to lose?
Love, Legoman.
P.S. I am feverishly in need of knowledge about the upcoming Leeds meet. I shall attend, oh yes, I shall attend.
