Due to popular demand (or in other words guitargeek made me) I am updating. I might not keep SG after my next renewal period, I love everyone but I never have a chance to get on here and then I get really irrate messages saying I am a traitor, ok not really, but it seems like a waste of money since I never have the...

There's still an open invitation if ever you need a place to crash in KC. I warn you: I will reside in the 'burbs until I can find my way out - soon, I hope. Hell, that's why I left Springfield! Did you know that Ryan Johnson & his gf are moving up here at the end of the month? I'm excited to be joined by some English folk.

Try Eureka Springs for your spring break in March.

Definitely, a Capricorn destination.

I am happy.

Though it is so weird watching all of my friends move away, especially when I think about the fact that in a few years it will be me.

I have been drinking a lot of appletinis lately, I got all of my friends really awesome Christmas presents this year, Tony Hoagland came out with a new chapbook and I went and picked...

I am so there, super thrifting. I recently found a new thrift store with a bunch of killer retro furniture and stuff. On a thrifty, not thrift store note, I just scored a crossley record player new at nbc for 29 bucks. Can't beat that with a stick, or brass knucks. If you are in need of a new record player, go check them out before they are all gone. That's awesome your gonna get started on some new ink. Check out my page, I just got a new tat last week. Call me soon!!!!

Happy day to everyone!

Yesterday I went and saw "Everything is Illuminated" at the Moxie. I fell in love with it, I was worried about seeing it because I have read the book and enjoyed it and I was afraid the movie would ruin it, but the movie really stands on its own. It is "very premium, yes." Afterwards I just drove around listening to...

This past weekend was a lot of fun, Kerri and I went to Art Walk on Friday and had many martinis at the Mud Lounge and people watched, I don't know, it was Bizarro night at the Mud Lounge or something because everyone was just crazy. Later we ended up over at our friend Zack's house and were later joined by a friend of his,...

Haha, one of the Headlines right here on SG just said, "Then Dave Matthews came along and the world changed..." tongue I must have laughed for a good minute.

I just had one of the most wonderful weekends, how many times has Austin saved my heart now? I never would have though I would be a Southwest girl, my whole life having dreams of Boston and...

I wrote to Tony Hoagland and he wrote me back.
Ahhh, I almost screamed right there in the computer lab when I opened my mail and saw that he had actually replied, it was something like a 14 year old girl meeting their favorite Tyger Beat cutie, except for the whole he's middle-aged and balding thing. But it is definitly awesome, and he writes his...

I remember being totally mystified by those dancing mickey things. My friend bought one when we were in France. Got back to the hotel and couldn't get it to work. So we got drunk and smashed it. One of my favorite memories of that trip was of walking behind a choir in Strasbourg. they were singing in the streets. the voices were bouncing off the buildings. it was incredible. so dreamy and werid.

it's good that you appreciate those experiences. A lot of people i know wouldn't dream of setting foot out of missouri let alone the states. they're missing out.

Well, I finally kissed him.
It was probably one of the weeniest, most "chicken out right in the middle of it" kisses ever though.
Because I remember thinking, "I would like to kiss him" as we were sitting in his car saying goodbyes for the evening, and then before I know it I'm getting out of the car and as I'm about to close the...

Yes, I got some really good pics of the Rev. So what band do you feel embarrassed for?

I'm going to Austin in March. If all goes well, I will be showing a film for the SXSW festival. If everything ends in disaster(like it usually does), I will be going just to hang out...drink, watch tons of films, and see a couple of thousand bands.
aficionado:
awwww, that sounds like a nice first kiss. glad it went so well.

I've heard of clinic. hear a couple of their songs. but don't remember anything about 'em. nor how good their music is.
