I think I have heard of the place actually..just word of mouth. But really I love the amish because well they are really nice and they make good bread and pies and that is yum...but maybe they are just nice to me because I am buying a pie and they think I am the devil...hm

That's funny that you mentioned learning to cook to impress girls. I just bought a Thai cookbook last night. That should work really well. Especially because I don't know anybody down here, especially girls. So I can go up to random strangers and be like: "Umm...Do you like Thai food?"

I was stationed in Atsugi, Japan for 2 years. As well as Lemoore, CA for 6 months. I went to school in Oceana, VA and Pensacola, FL. I also attempted to complete Aircrew/SAR school there.... But, I couldn't make the swim times...

amazing how much you appreciate things like hot water when you haven't had them for a while. I lived without such amenities for a few months when I first *ahem* left home. I also agree with you about neatness. There is nothing like not having access to such things as showers, hot water etc that makes you have nothing but contempt for those who can use them and don't.
