Insurgents have kidnapped more than 250 foreigners in Iraq in the past two years. Many have been killed. Last month the Islamic Army claimed to have killed U-S electrician Ronald Schulz. From this atricle.

It's amazing how few of these kidnappings and even fewer of the deaths make it to our news outlets. It frustrates and angers me. I'm convinced it's the Bush Administrations policy...

you would think that they would use it to their advantage, to talk about the horrible things the "enemy" does. but they simply refuse to deal with the fact that this fucked-up little war has casualties that aren't all bad guys.

Yeah well we tried to have a fire in the fireplace yesterday... Even though the flue was open and heated the smoke poured into the room. A friend of ours freaked out and put it out with an extinguisher. I was originally convinced it was a foam extinguisher, because those are the ones I've always had around, instead it was a baking powder one. It was a friggin pain in the ass to clean up. Needless to say, he's not allowed to use fire extinguishers unless the house is actually burning.

egh.

Sorry about the ice cream, truthfully that's the same reason I didn't want it.
