go to the ear specialist. you may have tenitis. trust me when i tell you it is not fun. i have a constant ringing in my ears, and it gets worse when i am around certain frequencies or pitches. I.E. metal pipe on floor = can't hear for hours!

I get to work with hooligans and droolers too. I swear some of the engineers would be befuddled by the technical level of a light switch. Some of the operators wouldn't know how to work that same light switch.

Define work attire.. I got a bit dressy today: desert boots, gray socks, khaki shorts, and a cotton sportshirt. The dressy part was I tucked the shirt in for the whole morning.

I work at home too...and while it sure is relaxing, it's really hard to motivate myself to stick to any kind of schedule.

I might wake up at 8am...but I sit under the tree in the yard until 10...then it's nearly time for lunch...and Days of Our Lives...but then, it's 2pm...and by 5pm it's time for beer...

Man, it sure is a tough life, huh?

Take a pair of panty hose. Put your hand inside the leg and rub across your arms or any other skin that was exposed to the fiberglass. That will do a pretty good job of picking up the bits of fiberglass. It works best if you do it before you take a shower. I learned that trick when I was working some remodels.

If you have to do more of the same work - head over to the paint section of the store and grab a couple of the Tyvek painter's suits. I prefer a size larger than usual for insulation protection. Duct tape around the ankles/wrists - voila! Much less fiberglass the the skin.

Note - the duct tape goes around the suit ankles/wrists to keep a relatively close seal. Its not for linking ankles or wrists together. That is a whole different thing and has nothing to do with installing insulation.
