sweet... my company made it on the SG boards.

We just announced that we are doing StarTrek online on tuesday. Yes, the geekiest possible game on earth I believe.

It's amazing how many people like to point out all the ways it will probably suck... even when they have no idea what we are designing.

So I'm reading this book about Chechnya and the war there(which is kind of odd because I bought it like 2 days before the whole school hostage thing happened).

The whole thing is very grounding. It's easy to get wrapped up in a narrow scope of life... to see all of your problems in relation to all of your pleasures and forget that it's all...

Well, he certainly chose the wrong drunk chick to pick on. Notice that my "INTO" list starts with "making an ass of myself in public." Hehe!

Just actually read your journal entry. This...

I have a tendency to want to save the world though... which would most likely end up with me putting myself in a position to not help anyone.

sometimes I realize how much I miss really WANTING someone...

I've had a lot of wonderful relationships in my life, and I am VERY thankful for them. I've had a lot of wonderful friends in my life, and I'm very thankful for them. I am happy with myself, and love my life... I'm very thankful for that.

But sometimes I really remember clearly what it...

Sometimes I become very aware of the fact that I need psychological help when it comes to my overbearing work ethic/mentality. It's definitely not healthy.

I am glad to have not been stressing for the...

curious... my friends list is one shorter. I would be disturbed by the fact that I'm not sure who isn't on there, but I know that I can never focus to the point of being able to figure out what's NOT in a list.

frog golf is a little disturbing.

I just had a large sake by myself.

mmmm....

I'm alternating back and forth between the book 'the power of now' which is pretty much a feel good meditation guide, and 'a small corner of Hell: dispatches from Chechnya' which is a journalist account from inside chechnya of the second chechnyan war. I have no idea why, except that it looked like something I should...

very clever.

I've decided that space needs to be given a more specific identification. it can't be just 'space.' each little bit'o'space has a location, and it exists in time, and it has the potential to NOT be space... therefore I think it should have it's own allocation of identity.

if you hate that, you should...

I mostly agree with the horror comments, as long as its advertised itself as suspense type horror. Nothing sucks more than seeing something that's advertised itself as a slasher/gore type flick and not getting any gore.

"The Ring", to me, was one of the more successful PG-13 'horror' movies recently. It used suspense without gore to great effect. Honestly, 'Se7en' wasn't as gory as some people remember (though it was rated 'R'). Fincher is great at letting your imagination do most of the work (especially through his excellent use of sound.)

Goddamn that Requiem. And you can tell him I said that.

Bah. Back to school next week. Thought I'd say HI before then. Wish my Sundays were still free for brunch. Maybe later. frown

Thanks for your comments. You're such a Cancer, like my sister... always saying something to make me warm and fuzzy inside.

It's been a crazy whirlwind of a time here, and I love it but damn if I've dropped off the face of the earth since then.

I miss you!
