I've probably already spent 15+ hours over the past few days on this painting. Between; trying to get the proportions right on the body in the rough draft, laying the base coat of paint, and laying the outline for the rest of the painting upon that. It's suppose to be a Krampus piece, but at this rate I don't know if I

I love it! I too enjoying painting...I always forget about it though and end up not painting for months =/ You are very talented

@bungled1 I painted some of my walls red a little over a year ago, and it was a pain staking process. I lost count of how many coats of paint that were needed. Someone told me, after it was all said and done....You should lay a layer of grey paint down before adding the red, and it'll keep you from having to do so many layers.

Thank you staff for putting my blog on the front page last week!!

I Finally got around to doing my first belly painting! I am hoping it brings in more clients, because it was quite a relaxing experience for me. I am not nearly as productive with artwork as I should be for the sake of my sanity. Trying to bring a change to that...

One of my projects, finally finished! It was a lot easier to perserve them, compared to trying to get decent photos of the end product. First taxidermy pieces.

@spitfirexx most bugs actually creep me out as well. I try to break myself of my fears. I was horrified of clowns growing up, now they decorate my home. When I go to check to see if the cicadas I come cross on walks are dead,  I usually jump back a good few feet, to make sure they aren't playing possum lol

Interesting approach - I've not heard of using hand sanitizer

So,... I have been in a huge rut here lately. I was one here and kept seeing blogs covering the homework topic : Show Us Your Favorite Costume. I'm currently searching for a picture of that costume to scan on here for you. However, it inspired me to pull out an old costume I hadn't worn since I was 21, and take some photos...

Damn, you really look hot in that costume! Amazing pics! :) Sounds like you had a really stressful season working at the haunt. But it would be really cool if you could be trained in Animatronics and/or in prop making. :)
redfrog42:
Great costume! You're super sexy.

So yesterday I woke up, and just laid in bed for who knows how long, because I'm so drained of energy, (I'm currently wearing tampons in my nose, because instead of having snot, my nostrils just pour water >_< lmao). Any ways I came out into the living room, and totally broke character: at least for my normal self, and squealed like a

@taiava The Sacrlet Gospels? Yep, heard about it, and I'm really looking forward for it! The idea of a confrontation between Harry D'Amour and Pinhead is just friggin' brilliant! :) Neil Gaiman is btw one of my favorite writers. I just love American Gods!!

I usually say there is nothing more satisfying than scaring people. But tonight took the cake. I got three teenage boys so bad that they fell on top of each other, sprawled out onto the ground. The top fella half way lost his pants and all I saw were plae ass cheeks scrambling to get up and out the exit. Made my night !!!

I'm

I'm cool with reading whatever your twisted little mind cooks up. Scaring the pants off of teenage boys right now tops my list. Heh. Maybe you could do a make-up tutorial for say, cuts, bruises, flaking skin (like chemical burn or radiation poisoning), complete with products to use and the like... you know, a how-to for the upcoming awesomeness that is Halloween.

HA! Brilliant.. 😂

I can't legally post makeup pictures from my haunt until after the season. Good New is, these are just practice makeups that I've been doing at home. Yes I know they are not perfect. That is just one of the draw backs to haunted houses. You work in damn near pitch black conditions, so there's no point in perfection. We have 5

I have a manager like that that just started working with us. After a almost near "thank you but you can pack your bags" situation he has toned down a lot cept that old habits die hard and when he is in a rush durin the events that we hold. Still gotta keep an eye on him though hahaha.

So I just reached a life goal. And it's unfortunately going to eat up the little free time I was going to use for a decent blog on here. Starting Wednesday, our next day back at work , I will be an official Makeup Department team member at the haunt I work for! It's the first time I get to do makeup in a
