alright, ok, that's enough of that now.

must. find. sun. must. be. warm. must. find. out. howthefuckit'smid-augustalreadyandi'mstillbackonthe5thofjuly. gah! fall is approaching! the next sunny delicious day we have in SF (if we ever see the sun again), you may just be awakened by shrill shrieking, as i stand on our rooftop welcoming the rays, and then streak naked through the city, sopping up every last...

The best thing I've done this summer was to buy myself a kayak and go out and play on the bay up here. I haven't done it nearly enough as free time has become too scarce, but hopefully I shall be out again soon. As to company, sure, providing you felt like driving up to the Canadian border and hanging a left just before crossing just to play in the water.

The best thing I've done this summer is enroll my niece into the summer camp near my job. She loves the camp and since its so close I often pick her up after school where we walk hand in hand while she tells me about her day. Then we go home and I show her how to cook dinner while she chats about whatever pops in her mind. There is nothing better than children and family smile

i want that option of calling "do over", like we're playing four square, or tetherball.

when i was 5 or 6, i had a friend that lived down the road. it's funny now...i don't even remember her name, or which of the girls in our several mile rural neighborhood she was. but she had this trick that she would use when we were playing, if...

the only constant is change. you can only continue to live and hope that it's the right path for you. requesting change is like requesting forgiveness, it can only be givin not demanded.

things come around and you will continue to be your best. I'm confident in this

thinking of you smile

when you think of the perfect love relationship, what do you imagine yourself experiencing?

i used to equate the kind of love i was looking for with the sensation of deep passion, connection, intensity. i thought this is what i would find, and desire, in a soulmate. like the line in a postal service song, "...waiting for a love that would look and sound...

Seriously. The one thing I picture, when I imagine a worthwhile relationship, is someone who will truly comfort me. On an elemental level, I want a friendship like the hound dogs in Where the Red Fern Grows.

so the other night, i saw another raccoon. not nearly as thick headed as i used to be, i immediately took note that i'm supposed to be learning something here. sometimes you just see animals, like the pigeons you passed, and ignored, on your way to work this morning. and then other times, the absurdity of their appearance in your life forces you to take...

When I think of raccoons I think of purification. They dig in trash and yet they wash what they eat.

My most unusual sit was doing outside meditation at night with bats flying by my nose.

I lost my purse over the weekend, and it had your phone number in it, among other things. So call me or message me and send it my way.

groggy and fuzzy headed, my dreams were penetrated by the oddest bird songs this morning. weaving themselves into my dreams as visions of parrots, blue footed boobies, or the extinct dodo, it was a good half hour before i really started to register the sounds. insistent trills, made by at least two birds, now soft, now loud and angry. hmmm..fighting parrots? as the dream state...

I didn't get to see the hens enough growing up on my Grandpa's farm. I always got chased away by the roosters, until I discovered that I was huge compared to them. Then I chased them away from me. Aaah yes, the old rivalry between me and the rooster (which Grandpa appropriately named Cock). The few times I did get to see the chickens was when I was feeding them. That was always fun. They're so much more grateful than ducks, and not as aggressive as seagulls. Okay, I've said my dorky farmboy parts. Nice ta make your acquaintance and such.

Sorry for your shitty ass weather! It's been beautiful here in Boulder, though there is a little rain most afternoons. Of course, you can come stay with me any time, and we can skinny dip in my pool, heehee. The best thing I've done this summer is move here! And go hiking and swimming and play with my little doggie outside all day, and check out the local shops and crap...

amazing doesn't even begin to describe my experience here at indian hot springs, this incredible magical land with an intense history and energy to match. i'm here with a family i occasionally nanny for, and i'm working,...

today i had the best day ever. actually, i've been having a lot of those lately. even though i still wake up in the morning with a sense that, during the night, someone tied my heart to the back of a chevy and drove it down a bumpy dirt road. despite this, i'm feeling sneaky and creative, luring my good fortune towards me with...

with a waning sickle moon in a predawn grey sky, and leo crying behind the closed front door, i drowsily placed my suitcase and grocery bags filled with snacks and multiple choices of shoes into the back of bliss's hybrid. heading east toward the rising sun and the mojave desert we passed windmills and baby sheep, creepy industrial centers and hispanic farming towns. the...
