Watching "Arrested Development" has made me come to a profound realization: i need to own a puppet for the purpose of offensive jokes. Or just because of the fun of a puppet.

It's around 100 degrees in here, maybe a little more. The last couple days have been fucking miserable; i think i've gotten four hours of sleep in the last couple days. Tomorrow, i...

The home is not a cell, but a center of personal development. The kind of thing money can't buy, but can totally rent for $695 a month. Where you can look out, see that masterful view: four cars in a line, a bus stop, & a slightly angry black man looking at you from his balcony. Where the tempurature is nothing but a test of...

I will see you Tuesday. Within the summer you will have your license. Have you begun hitting your parents up for wheels yet?

lol that would be classic.

I say we find the drunkest person there....and I think we should be stone cold sober.

I remember someone who once meant a lot to me told me that what's popular isn't always right, & what's right isn't always popular. Granted, i think it carries more weight now than it did then, however at the time it resonated in that angsty way things tend to do at that age. I hate the word "angst," by the way. Talk about one that's...

Why, after three years, in two different places, is it ninety-five FUCKING degrees in my apartment? Every year it's the same: despite air conditioning, or circulation of air, it gets just as hot if not hotter than it is outside. I thought central air would remedy this problem, but for some reason it went from cold air to a constant stream of tepid warm air...

Rushmore is the shit.

As are the Royal Tennenbaums... although Bottle Rocket was much more subtle with it's humor.... Have you seen it yet?

The mormons seem to feed on abuse, just makes them think their jobs are even more important!

Some Mormons were trying to get a bunch of people interested in the 12 apostles living today (I think), last night in front of The Palms in Winters. Everyone ignored them, and they slunk off dejectedly. It was pretty awesome.

Are the same Mormons following you? Or just no matter how offensive/rude you are, they won't leave you alone. They must go through some extensive training to deal with rejection.

The spoiler bit is basically the Townshend version of something i wrote earlier, elsewhere.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

I'm feelin' so good right now
There's a handsome boy tells me how I changed his past
He buys me a brandy
But could it be he's really just after my ass?

He likes the clothes I wear
He says he likes a man who's dressed in...

It would definitely be nice to hang out with people. Maybe we'll have a party soon.

That'd be cool, but it's more than likely a crackhead. Though I suppose the two may not be mutually exclusive...

You know what i hate? Children singing. It sounds so unnatural, like they're begging for their mom to puke a worm into their mouths. The only exception to this is Kids Bop, only because the surrealness of ugly children singing Modest Mouse gives me some warped sense of pleasure. This is relevant to nothing.

I hate writing right now. Seems like it doesn't really do...

Bad day. Dad has no idea what's next (he was a manager at AG Edwards, where he worked for 25 or so years). Everyone's a little confused, & i think scared. So, yeah, today wasn't one of my better times. This May has been one for the books. Told you they always suck.

I really don't have anything else to say. This weekend is...

Old...accquaintance is back in town. Likely hanging out in the very near future. I'm so...so stupid.

Sacramento is full of worlds colliding, by the way. It's very natural for worlds to collide, for paths to cross, for however you want to dress it up. I just get weirded out by how connected things can be sometimes.

I feel like i really fucked up, but deep...

SGSac speed dating?! YEEEEEEEEEEES!! You sir, are a GENIUS! You should hire a PI to find Joe Herr and then we will beat him with tube socks filled with oranges, yes?

FRANKLIN! LOVE IT!

G.O.B.: I can't. I already lost a brother today.
Michael: Franklin?
G.O.B.: Well, I didn't lose him, but he's all puckered and white.
Michael: On the plus side, you can take him to lunch at the club now.
G.O.B.: That's the exact kind of joke he would have loved!

Insomnia is ridiculously overrated.

I, in boredom, am checking out online personals. What strange world that is. Seems so...awkward. Especially the ones with quizzes & things like that, with the questions that never have the answer you want (last one was "Are you tolerant of other people's political beliefs? Yes or No"). Shame you can't just look up people by personality. Like, if they asked...

Jason Bateman can do no wrong. And I *do* dig Zach Braff, but I'm a dorky-type female, so I suppose that's to be expected. Is that flick out already? I'm lookin' forward to Superbad. I can't get enough George-Michael.

Garden State... instant classic to me. I listened to the soundtrack nonstop for months afetr first peeping it. Cera's delightful! I like the bigger curly-haired guy, too. Small, but amusing bit in 40 Year Old Virgin. Speaking of-- As goofy as "Knocked Up" looks, I mustmustmust see it. I've been waiting so long for brilliant Seth Rogen to get his own flick via Apatow & Co.

Why do the best shows get cancelled? Arrested Development, Freaks & Geeks? (I'm still smarting over Freaks and Geeks)

Phone rings, this morning, at six-thirty six. I answer.

Me: Hello?
Them:...Hi, is Joe there?
Me: No. He's never here. Go away.
Them: But this is his number...
Me: No, it isn't. Goodbye.
Them: Are you sure this isn't his number?
Me: Just as sure as i was when you called two days ago, & i told you the same thing.
Them: But--
Me: Get...

For the last week, almost every day, i've been getting calls from a wrong number, asking for a guy named Joe Herr. This isn't a new thing; since i got the 916 number, i'd irregularly get calls from parole officers or random people or the Colorado Technical Institute for this Joe Herr. These new calls, despite me telling them constantly that this dude doesn't use...

Okay, so the original line to this was "This new 'Scrubs' is depressing," however that word isn't the right one. Depressing, not the other ones. So here I am, stalling, because there's nothing else to do until the Ambien kicks in. At that point, should i still be writing, it will cease resembling this barely read blog as you know it & lead into me...
