One of the best things about the Uk is being able to go into pubs from the age of 18. I think if I had lived in the US, I would have gone bonkers waiting til I was 21!
Saw the Foo Fighters a few years ago at Milton Keynes Bowl, good show although the band seemed confused by the crowds mass mexican wave's at the end of each song.
How long do you get off in the summer? A nice long break this time of year would be nice, maybe I should go to uni.

Tonight the Derby Festival kicks off with Thunder Over Louisville. It's a big show where thousands of people go down to the Ohio River to see fireworks get set off of the bridges. What happened this spring break? Nothing. Just playing with frisbees, relaxing, and bebopping around the IU campus. It was nice to have a spring break but on the last few days I actually wanted to do something I got very sick and had to stay in. I puked all over the place in my friend's dorm.

Got all filled up on pizza and Dark Eyes and went bowling lastnight. A sport like bowling is kinda dangerous after a few drinks. Booze and heavy balls don't mix.

It's a quote from a UK tv show called Bottom. The show is about 2 deranged, violent saddo's who aimlessy bumble through life and get into trouble. The quote in question is where Eddie steals Richies holiday money (holiday monkey) and runs off to the pub (pube) to get drunk on it. I thought it would make a change from my typical entry for wednesday of "I'm going to the pub tonight" I was in a odd mood yesterday, it made sense to me at the time
