Well, deprevation of sleep and not eating well will always affect your mood in a bad way. I wont event talk on long period. My cousin as been barman for couple years and he once told me that just trainning physicaly one hour a day, help him to relax and actually he feelt that he was buying himself a hour of private time.
If your not into sport, try a walk leaving your phone at home.
