hating the new job, but it's looking like the fact that it's a 6 month contract could be the best part about it! only 4 more months!!! but, i've learned a valuable lesson, and that is that i don't care so much about the job/career path as i do about the products and the people i work...

I have been thinking really hard about going to the gym again, I went like 5 times a week for 7 years, I feel so much better when I work out.

i have done nothing constructive today...well nothing much anyway. somehow i have to clean the house, fix the drain in the powder room and buy/make filling for ravioli by dinnertime tomorrow. i'm sure i can pull it out. maybe.

i went to my tattoo shop last weekend to see if i could get my lotus flower done....and i couldn't get an appointment with the dude...

i am soooooo done with winter! more snow today, which means worse driving, more cold and more being trapped in the house. ugh! not to mention work is just total crap and my boss is worse than ever.

ya, I REALLY don't get the point of Winter. I am SOOO very happy to be living where I am...snow comes one night, gone the next...about 3 or 4 times a year...I get the magical first snow fall of the year a few times...don't shovel anything AND have a world class ski hill not far away so I can visit snow anytime I want.

after leaving on the 17th, we're finally back in our own place! lots of time in warmer weather, several awkward family moments and several home depot gift cards later....Xmas is over. after next weekend, the rest of the winter is dead to me. cue 2.5 months of yuck. time to focus on inside the house!

i am 95% ready to move to a warmer climate. it's only December and already getting down into single digits. i hate cold and i hate snow and i wanna move to hawaii. ready go. stupid chicago.

why are most of the biggest cities in the country in the north? that makes no sense at all.

i'll be in San Antonio for xmas this year...definitely excited about that. i love going to TX at Xmas because even if it's 50 everyone else is cold and we're in shorts like THIS IS AWESOME!

I lived in Chicago for 6 years and then moved to LA, I have to admit the Winters are WAY More pleasant here in the south Left Coast.

perhaps we're both just in a funk. it might be time to just let things cool off for a week or so, let us get all the crabbiness out and then revisit. hopefully it's the right thing to do.
