In addition to my website, I now also have a blog. Most of the entries so far are digests/commentaries on news stories, as I've been on a bit of an information binge just recently. But it's essentially where I'll be doing most of my editorialising from now on.

Your comments, as ever, are always welcome.

I have finally (after a lot of messing about) gotten a website up and running for my writing and the like.

VegasOrValhalla.net.

There are message boards, a blog where I'll be editorialising to my heart's content, and hopefully other features coming soon.

See you there?

I went away for a break end of May/beginning of June. I came up with this while I was there:

In a foreign city,
your restless ghost still finds me,
walks beside me
down cobbled continental streets
banking arrow-straight canals,
drifting some 300 miles
to stand with me
in the fine, indifferent rain
of another country.

This place was mine
long before I was yours....

I go out more now,
in the evenings.
There's no real reason to,
but then
there's no real reason
to stay in either.
So I go to the pubs,
with my books and pens
and my new clothes
and coins for the jukebox
and other tricks and barricades and disguises.
I don't even drink,
not properly:
the beer bottle in my hand
is really just...

Breakups are always hard I am sorry for your pain.

I would like to second Toxic's comment. The only person I ever considered too beautiful was Rebecca De Mornay and now you have been added to the list of two.l

This is a great photograph if you.

Nothing is better than a smart woman.
xzombiex:
how are you?

I've been away for a while, getting my head together following a pretty traumatic break-up.

But I'm back now. I'm hurting like hell, but I'm still alive, and it's time to get on with living again.

This set has just gone through to the Hopefuls Section. It's a bit of a raw set for me at the moment, as it was shot while decorating the...

I have recently uploaded a self-shot set I did a while back. I know that the photography isn't up to scratch, but there were some images I was really pleased with, especially as I didn't have the first fucking clue how to use the camera beyond 'set it up pointing in roughly the right direction, hit the timer button and hope for the best'.

For...

Following on from the previous blog, here is the next part of my messed-up little fairy story:

Part II - The Path

Nimmersdorf was roughly half a day's journey by foot across windswept snowplains and through dense, dark forests. The principality sat precariously on the edge of a deep ravine, a modest settlement of dwellings scattered about Nimmersdorf Castle, a fantastical creation of towers, battlements...

Wow. You have the talent of some of my favorite writers, like Ursula K LeGuin, Tanith Lee, Anne Rice and Raymond E Feist, the ability to literally transfer my mind into your world with your words. Just the exact amount of description to make me see exactly what you are envisioning. You actually pull me into your story. And I love the fact the the main character is female. That is unique in fantasy. I can't wait for the next installment. I am newly employed by a marketing/promotion company and I'm just learning the business. I don't know if we have any publishing contacts but I am definitely going to be asking around. As far as I'm concerned this should already be in print. Needless to say, Loved it!! love love
