I'm tired of feeling tired because I have to stay awake all night.
I'm tired of not seeing the sun for more than a few hours at most out of the day.
Night shift will someday claim me.

The shadows are starting to change.
Just a couple more months. I'll make it.

My hair is all gone.

It's ironic sense my dominant blood is English but damn, nothing like drinking Guinness and listening to old Flogging Molly.

I've only worked one day since last weekend.
That's two days off, one day on, and now six days off. It's going to be weird going back in to work tomorrow.
I'm going to miss mashleyhead tomorrow, too. I'm all used to having her around all of the time every day. I'm going to miss getting a little sloshed every night, too.

Work has been pretty good lately. Jim's finally pretty much leaving me alone/not being such a dick.
I spend my nights listening to metal and dicking around in general while keeping my turret(s) under control.
All in all, I'm pretty happy and content with my life right now.
Ashley's as awesome as ever. I kind of want to fuck her right now. Maybe I'll see...

It's happening too soon this year. The longing. The trees are just now losing that vibrant first burst of green spring and I'm already looking forward to the first chill wind and dying leaves. Five o'clock sunsets. Senses surrounded by nostalgia; burning leaves, Halloween decorations. Thanksgiving.
I don't know why it makes me sad.
