I found out about the show at the last minute and ended up seeing it by myself. I don't know if you know who they are, but it was fucking rad. I meet a super cool girl while I was there, and of course after an hour and a half of talking, she then informed me she had a boyfriend.

Yeah, I stayed with Sweep for a weekend a year or two ago. They are great guys but they really get going when you had some alcohol and a crowd. They came up from Chicago to play at my friend Stephanie's birthday party with a crwod of maybe thirty people, and all for some beer and gas money. They are pretty much done for now, but if you get a chance to see them again...

... so i wrote a new song this evening, the first one in a while, and it may even end up being good. the song as a whole is very therapeutic as far as the whole theme/feeling goes. hopefully tomorrow i can get the right key harmonica and get it recorded so i can pick it apart and decide what i want to fix/add/lose/and keep...
