if you count 20 minutes as way too long... that night nothing went right at work, and i had the world's most irritating chatterbox (i mean neverending talk) customer at 5 minutes after i was supposed to leave. hence the lateness.....
i'm glad you told the story. i told the short basic version that we all got sitting atop the hill at the retreat house, but i didn't really have that much info...
one thing i want to know... is why we always seem to befriend "fallen angels". weird.

Wow - I have a weekday off and I didn't ask for it.
I have 3 computer monitors in front of me, 2 working computers, 2 keyboards, 2 mice (mouses?), and ONLY ONE that the 3 cyber-addicted residents of my apartment use!! I'm glad I'm the only human home who is awake. 
Going Commando today - hope it acts like wearing rose colored glasses. Days...

My Grandparent's renewed their vows. It rocked.
Even the underage got a little tipsy with the open bar.

Welcome home! I was wondering what happened to Fae's account. Now I know what to do. :o) Thanks! Sounds like you had a grand trip. I don't know quite when I'll be able to work out that little plan of meeting you two, but I am looking forward to it more and more each day. I can't force things with his mom though - the woman is doing chemo and radiation at the same time now. So, I'm just going to keep hoping that we take at least a four day trip up there so I can spend at least a day and a half or so with you guys...? Slumber party maybe? Oh, I'm such a dork. Fae has promised she can make me feel sexy with a few alterations to my wardrobe.... What happens if I arrive in a corset? ;o) I'm working on it. The whole self-esteem thing. Oh, it is so wonderful that your family was so accepting of Fae and you and of the two of you as a couple - my honey's sister has that trouble in her family a little - mostly with the grandparent generation. Love is love. I don't understand how that can be so difficult for people to get. Wow, I've gone way past rambling... Sorry! I go. :o)

Is it really that rare? I love my family - and I like them too. I wish I had grandparents though. Only the one grandfather left and he's not going to be around much longer. The others either left before I was born or when I was between six and seven years old - so I at least remember them.

(about 80 minutes later) Met Doombird at work. She made me my fav ~ Peanut Butter Milkshake. She also made Fae a Sundae. We chatted for a bit until real customers showed up. Then I kidnapped some broken cones and went outside to the canal and fed the duckies! Most of the adult duckies were not timid...

Well I didn't compleatly finish but I didn't think I would either. When I start something, I HAVE to finish. So I set a mini-goal before I started of what it was I was doing ... and I finished that. I feel slightly acomplished.
