St. Patty's Day is here and so are the tourists! Riding home on Thursday was just hilarious. All through the historic district, the locals, particularly those living along the parade route, had their cars pulled up in front of their houses loading up bags and suitcases to go out of town this week while the St. Patty's Day crowds overtake the city. tongue

huh. somehow I missed the 'between' there.

Anywho. I don't think it gets any hotter here than it does by you, but there's probably more of it. I think you can also feel how much closer you are to the sun as well, it's weird. There were a few days last summer where it was too hot to go swimming. We only had maybe two days of 100+ but then it's 95 almost daily, and its 85 by 8:30AM. Also it rains A LOT. That's actually the main difference between summer and winter here. The summer is the rainy season, the winter is the dry season. And it doesn't tend to get into the upper 90's in winter. I like it. I'm close enough to the shore (about 10 miles) that there's always a breeze in the summer.
