I haven't been to a concert alone since I was a university student. Now, it would be a weird experience. None of the excitement of a shared experience, no after concert critique with friends, and no dinner at some after hours dive. Hey, maybe you'll hook up with somebody. You never know!

I know what you mean...I really wanted to go to Nick Cave earlier this month and ended up backing out because I couldn't find anyone else who really liked his music either. Unfortunately I am not a Missy Higgins fan...sorry

Who doesn't hate mosquitoes? We had a dry summer, so this past year here was pretty good--we hardly had any mosquitoes compared to other years. Lawns looked like crap, but at least we could go outside and enjoy the dust devils without being eaten alive. Interesting historical fact: When it was first settled, Battle Creek had so many swamps and mosquitoes that almost everyone had malaria. The young lads and lassies had to schedule their dates between their fevers.
