That looks pretty cool, actually.

I've been meaning to ask if I could interview you for a "V for Vixen" column. Would you have any time to either answer some questions via email or chat on the phone sometime within the next few weeks?

Life gets odder daily. Much photo fun, not much time for online exchanges this week but I'll return ASAp.

We have a new housemate. The idea is that this new addition will enable some of our collaborative projects; bring costs and delivery time down getting prints and proofs to clients, etc.

I'd forgotten what a hefty footprint these things have. Can't exactly sit it to the side of my monitor on the desktop.
Stay tuned to discover whether ink costs are equal to, less...

Ink seems to cost as much as gold. I always print stuff off at work.

Many rejected sets, lots of them beautiful, but today I'm plugging for Cecilia's most recent lovely photos {by Cherry} to get a second chance...

The acting dean of the department I applied to responded to my angry letter with a one-paragraph "we're always striving to improve, thank you" note that couldn't have been more devoid of content if it had been triple-strained through their lawyers' starchiest boxer shorts. I think that means they're taking it seriously.

Though that's been foregrounded in my blog, it hasn't much been registering in...

so how are things coming with school?

Exhausted, overwhelmed, and sweaty... generally the same as most days recently. When I said that I wrote a letter or two about my experience applying to the grad program, perhaps I understated. I wrote the provincial human rights commission, the ombudsperson for the university, the local papers, etc., 'cause the combination of f*cking me over and defending it as standard policy felt a little too...

Wow. Not just turned down again for grad school, but so thoroughly messed around in trying to apply that I can't entirely blame myself for this one... left a bad taste in my mouth for a couple days, but I wrote a letter or two and let it go.

More time for other stuff. Two weekends in a row spent engaging in activities that I'd...

you are very articulate. i'm surprised a well worded letter or two couldn't get you into the grad school of your choice. tough breaks babes, sorry.

and i'm a fan of good REAL sex ed, not the bullshit "these are your body parts, don't have sex" stuff they fed us in highschool. it obviously lacked a couple of key points, that would have been useful to me. thanks, shitty school system and right wing governments shoving abstinence down our throats...

ok i'm bitter, evidently. sorry.

goodluck with plan B. i hope there is a plan B

well wheeeee right back at ya tongue wink

I did it again. I applied to the same farking graduate program for a second year in a row. Wasn't any closer to the deadline this time, but maybe they'll overlook it 'cause I wrote a better statement of career objectives. Who knew I had career objectives?

That putting-on-a-rubber-with-my-lips-skill I mentioned a little while back came in handy again last night. Went to the release party for 'primed', a transmen's sexual health pamphlet for which I'd been a supporting model in some of their illustrative/promotional pictures.

There was a contest to win a bunch of lube, some fancy rubbers, a nifty toy and a bathhouse pass. All one had to do was...

Right on! Maybe you should also enter this contest. It doesn't require oral skills, but it does require a steamy 60 second story...

No, no overdoing it for me - I want a little color for the summer but overall I enjoy being fair.

My main squeeze was born in the Caribbean but has lived here most of her life. She obsesses sometimes about staying current with familiar foods and plants and expressions. One of our bi-weekly rituals is a trip to a Trinidadian grocery near our place. Yesterday we got these tart, orange elongated fruit that look/taste a little like star apple, but different. I start baffled by...

The Cramps said "Life is short and filled with stuff.".

There's more stuff in my short life so far than I ever imagined could fit. Good stuff. Very good stuff.
Kinda spooky how much is happening (or trying to happen) at once, though.

A couple days back Puppycat and me seemed to have caused the same cyclist to have 5 separate accidents... Seriously. We were...
