Stats mostly isn't that bad... as long as you don't mind maths. A lot of what I say about is a bit exagerrated and also because I'm never entirely sure whether I'm on the right track with it. Everytime I think I've done everything I've meant to, I have forgotten something.

Besides, different courses demand different things. Some course seem to have more of an emphasis on qualitative research, although I do believe the British Psychological Society does demand you do stats on all course - psychological research is dominated by null hypothesis statistical testing (which interestingly most of the physical sciences don't touch with a barge pole because it's considered unscientific - go figure). But it's not too bad. You quickly learn how to read the formulas and as long as you don't panic with them you'll be find. I quite liked stats at first because it was quite different.

Sorry I ahven't been able to wish you happy birthday sooner than this but I have been struggling with internet since Easter and when I have been able to get the internet I haven;t realy been able to get on SG. But I am home again now, so should be a bit more active from now on.

I dont know if they celebrate Mother's day in the UK but Happy Mother's Day from the US.

Monday was actually a very odd day. I went to the funeral with my friends and hardly muttered a word during the entire thing. Went home and watched two movies which were playing on t.v. and later felt the complete opposite of how I was feeling at the funeral. As though my mourning was over after the funeral. I've been just fine ever since. I think I'm going to abandon my current idea for your tattoo and restart, won't take me much longer though. I'd say...by the end of this weekend? I'm guessing.

make sure youve installed the cd that came with the ipod. the shuffle probably needs itunes 7, so you might not yet have it. most windows ipod setups ive worked with have required the install first, since they usually dont have itunes on yet. the new shuffles use a special connector to get it to USB, so make sure that connector is good and tight. but install the cd in case you havent already. i think sg also has an ipod group, so you can look in there if you need further help...

you work day sounds like my usual day

hope that today didnt suck at work. having a day go like that really sucks, they happen every now and then and there really aint much that can be done about it. but you've got the new ipod to be happy about.

getting a deal on the ipod is a really good, it can be hard to find really good priced on apple products.


the gossip from work sounds like there must have been some really funny stories to go along with it. it's priceless when people admit to doing stupid things while drunk, that is of course when they remember it. still those stories are usually good for a bunch of laughs...

you might or might not be able to get a tattoo appointment then, really it depends. usually i cant get space with my artist for around 6 weeks at least, but other people i know go to differnet people and can get appointments in around 2 weeks or so. so really it varies, hope you can get the design taken care of soon so you can go to the next step...

hmm, if you want your cocoon and butterfly to look like a cocoon and butterfly in 10 years, you're probably going to have to give me bigger dimensions to work with. Maybe 2inches wide and 5 inches tall?

Dead and dying? I've been working 12 hour days for the past 5 days on top of a roof hauling tools and sheets of wood. I'm exhausted and sore to the bone. This also explains the lateness of my reply. Can't complain now though, this is what I asked for.
