These shots are amazing- SG could always use more steampunk, I hope someone, somewhere, with decision-making ability agrees.

Hello,

Not much going on....been a little extra sick lately so I've mainly been working on my Etsy store: Alternate History
I've been listing the stuff I've been working on over the last couple weeks all day.

It's nice, I feel like I'm "working". I may not be getting rich by doing this, but being too ill to work a "normal" job, selling my stuff...

Whenever I talk about getting my boobs done, I always Tosh-scream "I LOVE FAKE TITTIES.... !"

Small boobs? Beer in a can.

Warning! This blog is full of randomness and pictures, and random pictures!

Got a new tattoo! I'm sitting here, with gooey A & D ointment on my arm trying to keep dog and cat hairs from sticking to it! It's a fancy little dagger.....represents my love of knives and throwing them. (I promise one day I'll upload a video of me taking my frustrations out...

I love your new tattoo- but gosh do I know how annoying it is trying to keep pet hairs off of a tattoo. Don't worry- you are not the only one who likes Eclipse a little. I am (as usual) late on board with the whole True Blood/ Sookie Stackhouse phenomena- bu that's what video rentals and the internet are for. The more TV I get into, the more I have to PVR when I go back to school...

I will probably be there again next weekend. I will let you know when I make better plans.
Your new tattoo is really cool. Do you throw better since you got it?

It's been a while...time for an update.wink
I made a tattoo appointment yesterday, I'm excited. It's going to be an antique looking dagger down my forearm. I guess it represents my love of knives and knife throwing.....which reminds me....I need a new target board. Maybe it'll stop raining long enough for me to get some practice in!

I also did a "mad scientist" themed photoshoot...

Chain. Definitely chain. I sweat entirely too much and just ruin leather after a while. Silver chain, rather big links (not like Flava Flav big, but bigger than average).

Price? I dunno, between 30 and 40 dollars if that is possible? I'd like it to kind of have a steampunk feel to it. If you give me an idea of what you need to spend to make it durable, let me know, i probably won't argue. I will be wearing this thing daily.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
The Razor Blade represents my addictions. I wear it because i know that i am an addict and that in order to control my addictions i always have to remember that i am addict.

The key reminds me that i hold the key to my decisions. No one forces me to do anything, i can't place blame on anyone because of something i have chosen to do.

I have worn them for about 7 years. I have replaced the key 2 or 3 times because it always gets beat up/falls apart. Fake razor blades weren't always easy to find, lucky they didn't break as much as the keys, i have only had one on the chain since i started wearing them. I have gone through about 10 chains so i kind of want this one to last

Sorry I scarred so many of you with the "peeing crazy dude" story, but I had to assault someone else with that visual!
Look how amazingly hot Silencia looks in the necklace I made in her new set!
The weather is so weird lately.....rain, sun, thunder, rain, hail, sun. That's Pacific NW weather for ya.
Anyway been very bust listing thing in my etsy shop....

Thanks for the body pain advice I was bitching about in my last blog! It's always there, but rarely gets that bad. I was telling my husband to cut off my arms and legs they hurt so bad. I was going to hoof it Oblong style!smile

Anyway, I ordered a hat from Bardot, which I LOVE! I'll post a pic a some point. It's...

clock gears:

Shafts are usually connected in one of three ways.

1)Beveled and pressed: The shaft is beveled and then pressed into the gear hole. The bevel acts as a lock and it will need to be pressed out. In order to press it out, you will need a press....in most cases something as small as a small bench top press will work.

2) Set screw: some cheaper gears utilize a set screw to mount the gear to the shaft. The shaft will have a flat side and the set screw is usually an allen screw on the gear itself, loosen it and some times it takes a tap or two from a hammer and small punch to get it out.

3) A set-key. A small piece of steel that fits into a (usually) square or rectangular slot. knock the key down (or up) and the shaft will pull out the other way.

If the gears are brass be careful about adding heat to anything. Brass doesn't like heat.

I have pulled tons of gears out of small shops and garage sales, removed the shaft and sold them, it's not hard. If you take pictures i can probably tell you how to get them out.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
i giggled like a 15 year old boy each time i typed "shaft".

all this dirty talk is making me blush.....

I was doing scrap work for a while there, basically cleaning out garages for people. The plus was that i could normally keep anything i wanted and scrap out steel, copper, aluminum, brass and other metals. I happened across a woman's garage that was full, to the brim of brass. Fittings, figurines, gears and everything else. The only thing i kept was the gears, with the shafts *giggle* intact. I removed the shafts *giggle* and then sold them on e-bay. They netted me more money than scrap would have. A girl bought them and was happy that my shafts didn't come with them.....the story of my life. She told me she was using them for steampunk stuff, and that is what kind of turned me on to steampunk.

If you send me those gears, i can more than likely get the shafts *giggle* out for you *giggle*. I can PM my address to you, i will remove the shafts then send them back to you.

speaking of shafts...that fourth picture of you is awesome. All this dirty talk needed some creepy talk
