So odd that bartenders are becoming the voice of reason in my life any more! Complete life advice over $20 worth of liquor, take that psychologists!

Almost an entire year since my last post here... So much has changed friends. Making beers now compared to drinking them, graduated college, and now I'm just coasting. Life feels a bit in neutral, any idea how to move forward guys?

So, I have decided, I'm going to attempt either Jon Snow or Robert Baratheon for Halloween, depending on the house sigil or the crows cloak if I can find it. Thank the gods I made chain mail bound leather a few years ago, YAY OLD WORLD SCIENCE!

That is all.

You ever watch a newer Adam Sandler movie and think.... How much fucking money did they pay him to do this abomination?

Something I can't figure out, maybe your guys can help me.

Why is it that females are allowed to drink to excess and its somewhat okay even if they are belligerent, where as males drink and its totally unacceptable if they've had more than three drinks? I just can't figure this out, I'm honestly the most docile drunk I know! I...

coming from a bartender's standpoint, it's not ok for anyone to be a belligerant asshole, and coming from a woman bartender's standpoint, it is almost less ok in my eyes for a woman to be a loud mouth asshole. i sort of expect my male customers to get rowdy (it doesn't mean i like it, depending on how bad it gets) but the women that come in and get abrasive, rude, and obnoxious are far less tolerable in my eyes. maybe that makes me sexist, but in any case, i don't particularly like waiting on anyone that gets demanding and then vomits all over my bathroom.

sashawan:
I don't believe that makes you sexist in anyway, that's just observational skills.

Meh, I hate being given a fake number. You do your best to not be a total creep, be a total sweetheart and buy drinks.... yet when you want to say, "Hey, thanks for hanging out with me." You get a message back saying, "Hey, she gave another guy the wrong number, sorry bro."

I'm not a creepy guy, I just want to have...

It's a weird situation. Women will often accept drinks from men they are not interested in because, well, they like drinks. I don't think that necessarily works for picking up though. It really depends where you live though I suppose. Where I'm from a sense of humour and a different conversation is much more effective. I once had a very drunk man ask what my favourite fish was. biggrin I thought it was hilarious. But even complimenting something specific (like her hair or something) might be different enough to make you stand out. smile

I lived next door to someone who had the most lovable German Shep, but they kept it tied up to a fucking TREE all the time..hewas missing lots of fur and not being fed enough...I was about 10 or so at this time. One day I looked in the phone book and contacted pet control while the neighbors were at work, jumped the fence and let the dog out...took of his collar and told pet control he was a stray. They took him in to find him a new owner. Then I thought I was doing the right thing, but I'm not sure if I did or not. At least I know he was getting food and not outside in the rain, ya know? So you can definitely call Pet Control in your area. smile
sashawan:
The "pet control" here is really lackadaisical. If i called animal control, they'd take him and euthanize him. I have, how ever, thought about asking friend's of mine and see if they want a glorious dog. I do think, moving him into another state would be the better option than leaving him to animal control.

Dear God, I haven't posted on here in weeks. How is everyone? How are the kids? My puppy is glorious, she just turned 3 in February and I couldn't be happier to have a fat lazy bulldog mix.

What all have you guys been doing? Cooking? Working? Have a new set out? Lets talk, yo!

Miss you guys!
