It does make seeing a comics based movie a little...interesting though. Thats why I never went to go see Elektra. I could tell from the previews that it had absolutely nothing at all to do with the comic character, other than the name.

Eh, it' not just following a 60's script. They took 43 years of continuity, and chucked it out the window.
Spidey 3 is going to do the same thing. I'm just going to avoid it. Dunst wants out of the movies and they're introducing Gwen Stacy. I sense a total flip flop in one of the key Spider Man mythos. Don't want to hit you with spoilers though.
Some things I can understand changing for clarity, but dammit all. The mixing of universes ("Standard" marvel, and the Ultimate Marvel universe) just serves to drive long time readers nuts!
