holy crap! i was kind of reading about saskparty winning the election but i didn't know it was that bad. oh well; only a couple more years there and you'll be off to more liberal pastures!! the western neocon movement freaks me out. why is this happening? i just hope the changes that are made aren't too irreversible. i don't get the private sector thing. it's NOT working in the u.s., so why do so many conservative canadians think it will work? well, okay, it's because they stand to gain monetarily for it, but...geez.

i've been dreaming about home too. i'm guilty about not spending more time there when i could and instead trying to pacify my bosses by not taking more time off. i also feel guilty because one grandparent on each side is suffering from dementia and i feel like time is growing short. geez, why don't i just write you a damn letter? i think i will.

I have always had shitty birthdays from the time I can remember. I have only had one, maybe 2 birthdays that won't or haven't caused me psychological damage. Every year someone tries to prove me wrong and every year that someone fails.
