Going into the studio this weekend with THC (Total Hard Core) to record some stuff... I'm pretty excited about it. Hatefuck has a show coming up at the end of this month, only the promoters don't know about it yet... stealing shows is great.

So... when we played in Madison, one person told us we sounded like Flipper and the Crucifucks, another told us Joy Division, and Sonic Youth... Ryan Poortenga (oh yeah, now I can name drop Punk Planet, and Suburband Voice) compared us to HIS new "sludge" band... another kid said he liked our "stoner rock" , but the show before he said he enjoyed our "new...

It was a basement in Madison... It was called The Death Trap... I think it was only the first or second show they ever had there... it was a couple blocks from the Capital Building.

Last night Hatefuck played a show at the last minute at our friend's house. One of the band's cancelled, so we asked if we could play. He told us "no" but after enough pressure he caved in. We played an allright set. The highlight for me was when we did "Ready To Fight" by Negative Approach. The guitar was all fucked up, so I set...

I haven't been able to TOUCH mad dog or everclear since I was 15. Passed out in my own puke and had to get my stomach pumped. Just thought I'd share.

Apparantly the computer at my parent's house has too much going on for me to burn CDs. I get trackwriter errors because the buffer goes to 0, and the information I got off the burner's website to fix the problem isn't helping. It says I should goto task manager and stop all the processes, but according to the message boxes, all 20 of the...

Going to Shawano later this morning to start working on a project with my friend Bill (Somnambulist) and Jeremy. It's going to mix animation and other neat visuals with story telling and music/sounds. Sorta like an old time radio show meets Liquid Television.

Watched Bumfight tonight with a couple of deaf guys I know. It was extremely cruel and amusing.

That picture is fucking awesome.

say the following in a REALLY nasal voice: "I made you my suicide girls internet friend! Life is keen!"

email me an address and i'll put together a tape.

here's a raggy story i love: he was, like a few of us in our tiny little town, a skateboarder. we were rarely tolerated, and decided the best way to deal with that was to be as intolerable as possible. so, raggy used to skate up to cars, and scream "I'M REALLY UGLY!" to the high school girls, baring his crooked teeth, shaking his curly mop, brandishing the board.

a kid named todd, an old friend of raggy's, may or may not be in gb right now. do you know him?

Tonight I took a walk through my old neighborhood. I had lived in few houses in the area over the past ten years. I've lived in quite few other places during that time as well, but it's kinda felt like home to me for a while now. I felt a kinda emptiness reach up inside my chest when I found one of the old houses...

Hey hey, Green Bay!

Give me a hint?
marla:
going back to my old stomping grounds gives me an eerie feeling. mostly because I hated being at home and what I really want to see are all the places I used to sneak off to at night when I would walk for hours unknown to my parents. but it's not the same during the daytime, the only time i've been able to make it back. that was a great story of yours. seriously. it's found a home somewhere in my brain.

now I'm at about 30 juggles.
go_lately:
i never could juggle. not even silk scarves. i can ride the unicycle like your mom though. maybe being really short gives me a good sense of balance, i've also always been really good at balancing things like pool cues on my pinky fingers.

there's a juggling club here at cornell which is funny to watch, but not as funny as the medievil somethingorother club, where they put on cardboard armor, helmets, and shields, and slap the shit out of each other with cardboard swords on the front lawn of one of the dorms. hehehe.

I got a couple of clear plexiglass balls from my friend's house last night and I've been trying to juggle them one handed ever since... I've gotten to the point where I can make about 9 'juggles' or whatever you wanna call it, and I've noticed that I do it alot better un-sober.
starbreaker:
Keep at it. Maybe you'll reach the flaming torches and Chainsaw skills. Or knives and axes.
