The holidays have been great from a pernsonal perspective. All 5 of my siblings have been in town for the holidays and to celebrate my parents' 70th birthdays. Dad's birthday was Dec. 8th and Mom's was on Christmas Day. Having the family together was the best Christmas present that I could ask for.

Went in to work today. 
I did get a lot of paperwork done, but it sucks going in on a Saturday.
Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and nice, so I am going to play golf.
I have played since May, so I'm sure I'll lose a few balls.

It was a good holiday weekend even though I had to work on Friday. I cooked up a blck bean and rice casserole to take to the parents' house for Thanksgiving. Watched a lot of football this weekend too.

I spent last weekend in the Washington DC area spending time with my brothers. Friday night we had dinner and bar-hopped in old town Alexandria. Saturday we watched the Mizzou football game at the Crystal City Sports Pub. Then walked up to the Tortoise and the Hare to watch live music. Overall a fun weekend and a good visit with my brothers.

I hate sitting around the boardroom. Each department gave presentations about goals for 2013 and strategic planning for how the goals would be achieved. My powerpoint sucked, but my department's goals and plan are rock solid and achievable. Glad it's over.
Training new hires tomorrow. Hope it's a good group.
