on my way home tonight, i got about 1 mile into my ride [out of 7] when my back tire went flat....

Hey robby!
Haha, mm i would love that actually. I was waiting to see what was up with my friend because she wants to get a set together as well. We were thinking we could do a joint one possibly. Sometime very soon. Hope everything is going good!

i really should be sleeping, but here goes anyway. i'm very seriously attempting to simplify my life. specifically, i'd like to have one main job, maybe another to suppliment, and that's it. right now, i keep a fine balance between any photo work and waiting tables and tending bar. it has officially gotten old [or maybe i have]. i'd like to be home at night...

i almost lost our dog today and two days ago i found out that my mom almost died last week. diabetes can be very scary. and apparently, so can dog parks. not the best start to what is usually a fun month in my year.

I know what you mean. I wish our society valued personal and family time as much as it seems to value working as much as possible. Ironic too that those who would oppose, say, more vacation time for workers are also the ones who most typically beat the "family values" drum the loudest.

Sorry to hear about the moms. I don't know much re diabetes, it doesn't run in my family, but I understand that it can be very difficult to manage.

Here's to better weeks.

man, every time i read your blog, it like totally bums me out. that's it, i'm never coming home again.

all jokes aside. diabetes can be very manageable with proper care.

and i am sad to admit i did not try the shaved ice. but when we go for your and mom's 10th, you can buy me some. can't wait!
