Perfect blog and Spanish sounds fun although I hope you get into you're selected programs.
Awesome photo btw. smile

Thank you. I'm trying to be more positive in my blogs, not complain so much. I'm happy I'm working, though there are problems but at least i am getting a check. Got a roof under my head, no longer renting a room you know? And seeing how much happier I truly am with being with someone and have them around. I am discovering my true self, my phobias and fear and learning how not just feel the void but try to fix it. I just want happiness and if I'm busy looking for potholes down the road, I'd miss out on the beautiful scenery along the path.
More cheeseball positivity

fundraiser for dojo where i train in aikido...trying to drink enough water so I can flush out the beers I drank. I'm testing for my next rank on November 18, catching up on techniques since i haven't been training as much because of a lot of life things.

I wante to make a topic in SGNY Occupy Wall Street but I feared negative comments. It is odd no one has mentioned it, but you are the first in my book.
So I finally went through a first day at work and all I can say my feet are surely barking! 11+hrs shift is not a joke but I'm happy to be working again.
aandp:
Heya,

I saw your message in the SGNY group about potentially hanging out & I'm totally down. You can message me back on here. & we can figure something out. smile

2 screenings this month in NYC & 1 in Berkeley...after that Toronto Palestine Film Festival! never been to Toronto, that'll be awesome.

For the screening next week I'm making a 60 minute cut, the full festival version is 82 minutes. But I'm making myself do it because it's a lot better for education & outreach because of class length and then at...

all is fine with me...some annoying situations like having to move my mom for the 2nd time in as many months. Thanksgiving was unsettling with sister-in-law having a near-psychotic meltdown which was pretty much what the evening was about. Still plenty to be thankful for.

Computer virus rendered my Thinkpad mostly unusable which has eaten up five days of my time paying the price...

my first shoot backstage at Fashion Week...what a zoo! but I was covering a fun, good-hearted crew...Mally Roncal of Mally Beauty...a warm, sassy Filipina who's hilarious talking off the top of her head. We were making a video promoting her as she did makeup for the Tracy Reese show...these are the models I was backstage shooting today! I really don...

So school's started, taking 2 classes on Urban Sociology and an independent reading class I'll be using for my thesis project on Chinatown. And now work is picking up again, the Catholic news is coming back from summer hiatus and this public television documentary hired me to be an assistant editor for a few days.

Now I have a ton of reading and...

Everything's happening all at once. They're trimming the cherry tree in front of my window which did seriously need it. I'll miss it though. Met Coop board of the Sunset Park apartment building where I'll be moving last night...it's a done deal. I'll be moving in July. But before that I'll be going to CA to do...

great to hear from y'all, thanks for your comments wishing me bon voyage! Did you know there was an earthquake in PR while I was there? there certainly were enough luscious ta-tas on display to bring that on! (cf. a recent story of some fundamentalist blaming earthquakes on boobs) I happened to wake up when it happened 5am Sunday, don't know if I...

Hey! It is a really nice day!

I am looking for all of the art stuff really! Any suggestions?
sharyn:
I have made a note of all of those places, they sound great! I am here until about the 20th June!

I'd be up for going to the MF gallery, maybe if you want to go there we could arrange to meet there on a certain date?

Okay, I'm finally almost done with the Spring semester of Grad Sociology. I feel like it's pretty much under control tho I've got about a 15-page paper on Chinatown to write by next Thursday.

Tomorrow going to Puerto Rico for a getaway...what? Yeah, it was by far the least expensive place to go for a much needed vacation. Only 4 days...
