You know, speaking of Twister, cows in tornadoes doesn't just happen in the movies... was watching StormChasers and there's this part where they're filming and someone goes " watch out, there's debris!" And then you realize as the camera focuses that it's a cow. poor thing.

It is sad when people lack joie de vivre or passion. Even when I was dead broke with my back against the wall, I never really lost the feeling that I was entirely in charge of my own destiny and that things could/would only get better, or at least I still felt technicolor inside even when grayness was all around. There does seem plenty of hopelessness, jadedness, or bad behavior out there. I'm not sure why. Maybe it has something to do with the web and the way people relate so inauthentically sometimes. Perhaps people have been let down and so they continue the cycle. They learn to lessen their expectations of not only others but also of themselves.
Patagonia would be so cool! That is another place Ive wanted to go ever since I saw a college boyfriends pics. There was one where he was coming up from a dive right at the moment a whales tail splashed behind him. He was smiling so big. Do it! Mexico first then southward. Maybe you too can smile & swim amongst whales.
