In 2 weeks I will be seeing Skinny Puppy at the Crystal Ballroom. I have just learned that a mere 9 days later They Might Be Giants will be playing at the same place, and you can bet I'll be at that show too. November looks awesome so far.

Anyway, I've applied to thirty jobs since I've been here. Starsucks was just one and I was only pissed because the whole app process including this virtual job tryout thing I had to do took several hours to complete. All I can do is keep trying. And be very very grateful that Rob is still getting UI checks and his parents are letting us stay for free so we're still saving rather than spending what we don't have.

I find it amusing that D23 is the name of Disney's entertainment expo. Or, as Yahoo put it, Disney's answer to Comic Con. I always thought d23 was hell's answer to Winnie the Pooh, but shows what I know.
