For the longest, Industrial music has always been my 'go-to' genre, but I started life out as a pure metalhead and that has never left me. Recently I picked up the latest album by those hard rocking Australians AC/DC, titled Rock or Bust, and man, it has completely swept me off my feet.

Maybe I'm getting older, maybe I'm 'growing up', maybe I'm finally getting a better perspective, or at least a healthier one, in life but.. The bagel and coffee in the morning is starting to feel a lot better than the bottle in the evening.

I'm trying to blast my way through the Age of Ultron (collected edition) comic book, before I go off to see the movie later this week.. Probably later tonight, I'll be taking a break from that by playing Fantasy Life on my 3DS.. And also visiting this site, I can't remember the last time I've ever felt so contented in life.

One day in the future when I'm laying on my deathbed I'll probably want those 200+ hours of my life back I've spent playing Elder Scrolls games, including Skyryim.  >;P

The latest effort 'Withdrawal' by nolongerhuman absolutely kicks arse. Harsh, harsh and more harsh. I'm up to 45 plays on some of the tracks. Keeping things real in the aggro electro-industrial scene.

Currently listening to the latest self-titled album by CygnosiC, a relatively unknown electro-industrial artist from Greece. It is slick, tight, dark and danceable, and I love it.

Back in the 90's when I had just turned of legal drinking age, going to underground goth/industrial clubs and calling myself a 'rivethead' was so easy.

Now, in my more widely traveled years, I sometimes stop to wonder who or what I am? Can we just chalk it up to human nature that some of us like myself have this strong inner need...
