I am becoming quite the thrify shopper. Today I bought 2 shirts, three pairs of funky socks, a rawkin hat and two new rekkids for my wall collage - all for the amazingly low price of $16. Shop in North Park, yo. My stuff is still in storage in OKC, which makes for very lonely walls and shelves. So, since most thrift stores sell old...

Brace yourself.
I think Kerry might win this election. Not only that, but I took an online issue/ candidate poll that said my views lean most toward those of the Green Party and a close second would be Nader. Of corse I was not asked questions about ALLthe issues, but I was still quite surprised. confused I'm from Oklahoma. My father is a retired military man....

Fathers, be good to your daughters
Daughters will love like you do
Girls become lovers who turn into mothers
So mothers, be good to your daughters too

Very nicely written, powerful words. Yours??

Finally some rain!! On Friday we broke the record in San Diego for longest period without rain, something like 189 days, since April. It was a big downpour here in La Mesa, it was LOUD!! Too bad it stopped; we need more. Unfortunately I didn't expect it and left my wood foosball table and my padded chair outside. Soaked.

I see your point about assembling anywhere you want. And I am usually a big proponent of "do what you want, as long as you're happy". With anything. But they were just so set-up, so prepared, so CLOSE to the playground, like they were blatant about it. Challenging people to come over there and ask them what the hell they think they are doing, so that they can lay into me with the scientology. If they were just handing out pamphlets, no problem. Go to town. Circus shows not allowed. It is a fine line.

I want to bitch-slap my neighbor. I can tell you everything he does in the wee hours of the morn because I can hear all of it. Yesterday he cleaned out his apartment, watched a football (soccer) game and shaved with an electric razor right before he took out the trash and had an argument with his business partner. Tonight he played sad, loud euro...

I used to live on Oliver off Ingraham. The couple below had kids and so to mask the sound of their sweet love-making would BLAST THE GREASE SOUNDTRACK in the wee hours of the morning. Day after day, always the Grease soundtrack, like they had only one CD. weird.

I know a quiet place you can move to. Just the occasional inconsiderate cricket. It's safe too. Armed security and a big guard dog.

I'm supposed to be at a Ricksha show tonight at t he Casbah. But I'm skipping it to hang with Kel. We're going to Krakatoa so she can study and I can write some web copy for our new product.

the problem with san diego is the cost of living. in addition to rediculous housing costs we have the highest gas prices in the NATION, among the highest power costs, the list goes on and on. it's brutal.

Have you ever worked retail and had an item that woudn't scan or didn't have a price tag or the sku wasn't in the computer? Have you ever had a customer who noticed it wasn't ringing up and said "MUST BE FREE!"? Of course you have because every jerk in the world thinks he or she is funny and wants to get something for free.

I finally sent out a milk memo from my new domain. Just last month I was ready to close up shop. I had written this long essay saying how maybe it was time to walk away, that I didn't feel I had much left to say. It was sitting in my Outbox ready to go. Then, I went to Nashville.
There, a woman that I...

tongue I'm BACK!

Vegas was twinkly fun. Saw Cirque du Soleil Mystere. This is a must see for anyone going to the big V. Forget Celine. I was with a party of five- all of us considered to be difficult to awe. Yet we sat there on the front row with our mouths gaping open and tears in our eyes.

Dancers flew directly above my...
