I don't know about this. I'm a purist. I go with cassettes. Magnetic tape, low fidelity, hiss, limited lifespan, no immediate way to skip over a song, two sides for two different moods, flipping sides being an intermission...and the fact that you can easily use records, CDs, and other tapes to make them....I still haven't gotten around to digitizing my record...
