We were both in college and had been dating for a few months so her folks had heard of me, but that was about it. Somehow when Friday came along, she managed to convince me that I had to call her parents so they wouldn't worry. Yeah, right.
"Hi. You don't know me, but I'm your daughter's boyfriend. She can't talk because she's sick, but don't worry because I'm looking after her."
Somehow they accepted me anyway. LOL
