sorry I've been m.i.a.! i was missing my sg pals...it's for good reason: i have actually been putting some effort into being social. good for the soul, you know. i've met some cool people recently, some even from this website. (wow! it works. who knew? )
i also met this charming, chainsmoking, alchoholic butcher who like to bring me fresh meat & bones for the dogs. (such a cheap shot going for the dog love. ha!) he's definitely a character & he seems to be hogging a lot of my time... he's very enthusiastic & i can't faullt his taste (ha!), but i have let him know that i am in no place to be messin' around. i'm still a married woman for christ's sake.
picked up my keys today & moved 1 piece of furniture over to the new place. i'm pretty happy with the place. i'm living next to my friends & their 2 kids, so this will force me to be social. i can do a nice slow move since i have the house for a few more weeks.
many good times are yet to come.

yes, if the butcher weren't so damn friendly & helpful to everyone i would be slightly distrubed by his behavior. but he is that way with everyone, so it's mostly endearing. but he is a drunk, so i have to make sure i don't slip back into that too...
funny cuz this is the guy that the consumer tried to sell me to for a water feature. i don't have the water feature yet, but i do have a steady supply of steak.

It's not exactly 'new-found perspective', Bete. Just a reminder - I been in that sort of situation many times. I used to be younger and far cuter once upon a time so it was far more frequent in the past, but I have always seemed to attract a lot of attention whereever I go. I've learned over the years to look and act more normal and have adopted a look that doesn't attract as much attention.

exactly what i asked! actually water feature guy turned out to be a good conversationalist & we are friends now. we even got drunk together last night & he puked his guts out. 
i couldn't believe it! by all rights it should have been me since i was drinking straight tequila, but some how i escaped with only a slight hang over.

yeah a new story, a new story! good. i need some new material BADLY. i will eventually go out & make my own live version, but i must tread carefully. the rebound is a dangerous time, i haven't been here in quite a while & i feel like i am all libido. i blame my long ago ex: he got me all fired up & then didn't deliver. damn him & his amazing ability to please me!
