The camping trip was fabulous. We were in a 5 mile caldera of a dormant volcano, the beach was mostly composed of water tumbled obsidian. Beautiful! The fishing was great, we went out on the boat Sunday morning and caught dinner. Anthony caught two and Dante caught two also(he released both since he is a vegitarian). We found some nice obsidian specimens for both boys...

I heard there are fire pits with grates over them for cooking, so I am just counting on those. My grill needs a full on campfire under it, it's pretty big. I will bring some cast Iron too.
Oh My God! The cirkus was fabulous. I had a great time. Unfortunatly I was by myself. I saw Skyla but she didn't recognize me, so I didn't ask her to come sit next to me. Germany was excellent.
I had a nice time hanging with lots of cool people befoer and after. If I met you last night, say hi, because I didn't catch...

What's this about a Hung Far Low meetup? We do need to administer its last rights.
I went for a run today, the first since I broke my foot last fall. It went well, my foot didn't hurt at all. Each time in the past 6 months I have thought that it was doing O.K. and I've tried to run I've made it about 2-3 blocks before it starts to hurt so bad that I limp home and get all depressed...

Hi, guy!
Yeah, I'm going. Meeting up with minibeanie, woodstock, and others (including Biscayne and Solo_Mantra, I hope) at 2:00 near the Saturday Market Max tracks.
You coming?? (After you eat them pancakes, of course.)

Ha, ha. Love them astronauts! (Always have preferred the Russian term cosmonaut, for some reason. Guess I'm just a pinko at heart. Tee, hee!)
Well, I am off at noon on Friday, 7/29, so that day would most likely work. Saturday is also a possibility.
Do you have a preference?
PS: I might have to bum a ride home from someone, though. Livin' out here in the suburban hinterland without benefit of wheels or decent bus service. Argh!

well, are you going to spill the beans? or are you going to be mysterious about it?

I did not do anything outrageous, Just a nice weekend with my oldest son in the woods camping. Very relaxing for us old folks.
Glad you had a good -- though "un-outrageous" -- trip. (Sometimes taking time out for relaxation is an act of rebellion in-and-of itself!)
PS: Have you decided whether or not you'll be going to the Brewer's Fest? I've been trying to entice Biscayne into attending, as well. Sounds as if he might be up for it.

Make it a good one, friend.

and i agree about the developing naturally thing.....just sometimes i feel like i want to exact revenge on a certain someone, and being in a relationship with someone else would be an awesome way to do that. but, i don't think i could force it, no matter how much i might *think* i want to.

Hey Paolo, dear.
It is unfortunate that I missed out on the party. Missed out on Biscayne's shindig as well, sadly. (I was in Denver that weekend, you see.) Judging from the photos that you posted in your previous journal, it was a HELLUVA good time. Gosh, maybe I can catch the next one. We'll see...
Hoping to attend the Brewer's Festival coming up next weekend, though. You gonna check it out??
Oh, and have a GREAT camping trip with little Dante. (I think it's going to be raining, so bring your rain-gear.)
PS: Parachute pants and muscle shirts: hubba, hubba.
