Well, one thing's for sure -- the MPC is a solid machine. A lot of good beats have been made on those.
As for midi controllers, I'd suggest something like this.
Lots of octaves, some knobs, some sliders... There's probably better/cheaper out there, but this was the first thing I thought of.
If I had 9,000,000, I'd move to the UK and spend it before you guys change over to the Euro.

What a quality postal service we have in the UK eh!? I posted a nice piece of vinyl to a friendly chap on eBay on Wednesday... Apparently the postaman (we'll call him doofy for simplicty) couldnt fit it through the letterbox. Doofy's solution to this problem was to fold the damn envelope in half. The buyer has yet to tell me what kind of damage...

...thank god for eBay. This week I found a Primus 10" vinyl promo from '92. Never even heard of it before (I have ALOT of Primus stuff....) so that was good. Even better than that, was the 213 I made on there this week! Basically, Elvis fans will pay over the odds and I got 30 more for my old guitar than I paid for...
