OMG I ran into sixsixty at Timeless (a coffee shop started by my mate RJ) in Oakland and I introduced him to my boyfriend as sixsixty. He was like, yeahh.... my name is [realname] and I was reminded how real names are 100% better than online porn site names.

Also it's nice that 10+ years later I'm still running into SG people on the street....

hmmm, you seem like someone important on this site so I should obviously word this carefully. So...when's your first set going live?
olivia:
@mastageneral, in about -5 years.

I had a dream this morning that I was returning to work at SG.

One of the girls befriended me then accused me of stealing makeup.

Then Sean confiscated my keys because I was too angry to drive.

So basically exactly like it used to be.

And referencing your previous blog... I'm turning 29 in a couple of months but I don't feel a day older than 18. Is that a problem...?
fabrizia:
what Talamia said. Me too. I thought I was insane until I read this! Aldo I arrive at SG out of muscle memory too...which brings me back to thinking I'm indeed insane.surreal

I'm about to be 34, but I don't feel a day over 22.

It's funny that all the things that I used to very passionately care about have all been stripped away in the last year and a half. What's left strangely resembles me at 22. Before all the change that eventually turned out to be caked-on makeup obscuring a face that's now scrubbed bare....

Once you successfully navigate through that mid-life contemplation between 30-40, you'll find yourself just settling in with that scrubbed-bare face you mentioned. I'll be 65 in three weeks. But spiritually/emotionally/intellectually/psychologically/whatever, I've been calmly floating around between 25 and 35 for 30 years now. Yesterday, my knees felt 45, today they feel 70. I still feel like "me," but it's a version of "me" that needs a nap now & then.

Enjoy the ride.

I find you incredibly inspiring. I wish somehow I could touch you with my words here, but I know it is a vain hope. We are approximately the same age though, and live in close to the same area. I am going through much the same changes in my life. It feels nice to be laid bare when you have confidence you are in charge of it!

Sometimes I arrive here just out of sheer muscle memory. My mind goes blank as soon as I click the URL bar and before I know it, my fingers have taken over and somehow I've typed "suicidegirls.com".

I was doing that same thing all last year while NOT officially a member anymore. It was upsetting. This clearly is the place for me, so I am back. I think you have tried to deny it too, like I did, but this is not something you have to give up. This is a connection to be proud of. This is something you were a part of. There is so little that we do in life that is part of a thing that is bigger than us, and there is no point in denying yourself that connection even when fate picks something you were not intending. I think of poor Alice Liddell, who was the one Charles Dodgeson (better known as Lewis Carroll) had tutored as a child. She was still known as the Alice from Alice and Wonderland up into her 80s. How must it have been for her to be famous for something she clearly had nothing at all to do with. However, sometimes embracing the oddities of fate allows you to become yourself more completely. I think it has with you, and so I find that inspiring. Be you, in spite of and because of what the world has made of you.

Thanks for the birthday wishes! Life has changed a lot for me in the last year. I don't spend a lot of time online. I do spend a lot of time at the gym, coaching, doing paperwork, and all the fun stuff that comes with running a business. It amazes me to look back and compare my life now to my life during the time...

Hey, it is so good to see you on here again! I have missed you. I think I even got several posts taken down on various groups asking about where you went. It seemed odd to me that one of the best and most interesting people on here had disappeared like a ghost. I am glad you are doing well and that things have been a win-win for you with moving on. I wouldn't think the SG site would necessarily hold anyone enthralled non-stop forever, but on the other hand, I find myself feeling very comfortable with the people I have met on here. There is a certain fearlessness of interacting with people who are opened with their sexuality that makes me keep coming back. Counter-intuitively (perhaps, or perhaps not) I feel like the people I have met here are on the whole more well-rounded and less perverted than those I meet in society in general. I think being opened to all sides of yourself is a genuine good that leads to real development of the soul. -Or maybe I just am very good at justifying why I love looking at beautiful women and talking to other people who feel the same way, but I know many art historians who would say that which is aesthetically pleasing leads to a happier and more productive life. Anyway, I am glad to see you back on here and I hope you know there were quite a few people who noticed your absence and will be gladdened by your return.

All this time I have been signing off my emails "xoxo Olivia". You know who I stole that from? Missy.

Now that I'm a Very Serious Gym Owner it seems inappropriate. I have taken to bidding adieu with "Thanks, Olivia", which strikes me as boring and stupid.

What is the middle ground between "xoxo" and "thanks"?

My legs are pretty sore from day 1. I'm walking around the apartment like Frankenstein right now. I take really awkward steps and groan incomprehensibly. Should be good by Friday though.

You know what this place feels like? It feels like visiting an apartment which was once your home that you lived in, renovated, spent so much time in that it is intimately familiar. But you moved out, and now other people live here, they just haven't bothered to redecorate.

And those people are 18.

Something I completely love about British TV: interesting teeth.

That shit don't fly in America.

I remember reading an interview where someone was talking about the awesomeness of British teeth, specifically complaining about Bowie having his teeth "fixed" midway through his career.

And so I just found a little documentary about this very subject on YouTube... hilarious.
